This reminds me of a situation that happened while I was in college.
We used to have a spring event known as college days. Over the years it evolved from a day of picnics into live music on campus, etc.
One year things started to get out of hand and the police had to step in to keep the peace. There were lots of carloads of college aged kids in vehicles with out of state plates roaming around, getting drunk and looking for trouble.
Word went around that 'next year there's gonna be A RIOT!'
Sure enough, the next year there were once again lots of kids from out of town and they were looking for trouble- and they found it. There was indeed a riot when hundreds of drunken punks took up positions throughout a student housing apartment complex, throwing bottles at police, starting fights and generally screaming loudly enough that the road could be heard from a mile away.
The point of this is that if enough people expect something and want it to happen, it will.
Are we sure that we want a civil war? What would be the consequences? Who benefits? What would our country look like during and after such events?
That riot happened for no better reason than a bunch of kids expected trouble and we're willing to incite one for kicks.
Is that a good enough reason for civil war?

Do I worry about these clowns starting a civil war and winning, no, have you looked at pictures of these clowns at the turd rallies.
