hey guys, so im at day 31 of 12/12 on these 2 blue hog's breath plants(Hybrid), i noticed yesterday the hairs are starting to turn orange however i had assumed this wouldnt happen until the last couple weeks? Is this normal? am i doing something wrong? Theyre under a mars hydro 600 & 2 40w CFL's in 3gal pots. Feeding Kyle Kushman nutes with every watering as directed on a 9week schedule.

thanks in advance!

Probably nothing but usually it's a sign the plant is finishing. You have some nice white pistils still growing so maybe it's a quick finishing phenotype of this strain. Just keep an eye on your trichomes, I can see a few going cloudy.

First, yes it is normal they are fine. Second the 2 cfls are superfluous they are certainly not going to hurt anything but they are not helping much either. Looks great for an LED grow though...Great job!

Thank you, its my first grow, kinda went in with just the power of reading and the internet! i was thinking about making some reflectors so those CFL's can do a little more!

Really? I never wouldve thought a plant could ever finish 3 weeks ahead of schedule

With the lights on it had to see. They look good from what I can see.
I'll try and snap a macro-lens pic with the LEDs off

I dont ever answer these as they are usually to hard to answer, You will end up with a few ounces off of them, The longer you can let them go for the more you will end up with. best answer I can offer :) BB

Hard to tell, they'll gain a bunch of weight in the coming weeks so 2 oz a plant could be doable

They won't!

It is NOT in any way a reliable indication of the plant finishing!

Swollen Calyx's and trich's are the best way. NOT the trich's on sugar leaves !

Running a week or 2 longer then you think is usually a good thing for a novice grower.
Be PATIENT! it will come.

I use indica seeds/clones whenever possible and pistils changing color after 4 1/2 weeks is about right. Now is a good time to check your tris and see if any have started to turn from clear to milky white. Harvest when most of the tris are milky or darker. From the looks of your pix I think they will finish before 9 weeks. I'm guessing 7-8 weeks flowering.

Good luck, BigSteve.
