So they want to assign a task force to make sure that those who cultivate their own medical cannabis are in compliance, as far as plant count and weight limits, also to determine if patients are cultivating for their own personal use or to try and turn a profit. They also want to make sure that the electrical and plumbing are to code.
It hasn't been written yet but it is in the works. Initial consultations are happening now. Also many cities in Monterrey are looking hard at opening up for business, not just the Del Ray Oaks. I've been contacted by for separate local governments in Monterey all considering new ordinances for both dispensaries and cultivation.
So, anyone try the new dispensery yet? Will they accept my 420 evaluations physicians recommendation. Or do I need to get my card through the department of health and safety?

Ok, so I just got home from Monterey Bay Alternative Medicine (M.B.A.M), guys this place is amazing. They did accept my physicians recommendation from 420 evaluations, and I am so happy they did. There is security in the parking lot, there is more at the door. I felt very safe and welcome to be there. This place is clean, professional, with staff that is very kind knowledgeable about their products. M.B.A.M has set the bar extremely high for how a dispensery in Monterey county (or any place else for that matter) should operate. I've been to collectives all up and down the state where they are allowed, and this place tops them all.
Monterrey county about to put out a new ordinance on growing. Will be up for vote tomorrow but will likely be postponed for 45 days. Just got a hold of it, reading it now.
