Picture of your pet thread !!!

Not a pet pic I realize but I thought it fit this thread. Last year before AK was adult legal I was suddenly over my legal med limit after a successful harvest. That made me nervous so I double seal-a-mealed my herbs, put them in 2 lidded buckets and hid them deep in the woods. Months later I ran out and went to get them, realizing once I got there that I didn;t have room for the buckets in my backpack, just the herbs, and I was on my bike. So I just grabbed the buds and left the buckets. A week later I went back to get the buckets and a bear had chomped into one of the buckets! They're 5 gal so the bite's bigger than it appears in the pic. Still based on where it was more likely a brown bear than a black. Not a big one, but big enough to get jaws around a 5 gallon bucket.

Anyway, I was just glad to have already grabbed my buds, they were in perfect shape! :p:p:-P RUI-72-BearBitCan_1344.jpg :D

I thought I wanted to run bio-diesel in my truck so I went around and collected used vegetable oil in plastic jugs. I had an oil slick in the yard that was mind boggling! DA bears..... I had to stop using blood and bone meal as well. Anyway this is Merryleggs. She used to live here but now just visits.

Ok Guys!! Should I or shouldn't I? She so cute!

I of all people know that a dog is for life and not just Xmas. This also sadly gives us a lot of opportunity to home a nice puppy at this time of year.

So here she is on FB, just staring at me and begging a nice home. I can see she's gonna be quite big...?

I've been considering another dog for a while and I want a bitch to keep Monty company. This dog looks young enough to train. No idea what breed? Looks cross Shar Pei with Terrier. I've already been messaging them on FB. It could happen..

Well?? Tell me! :)

In a way that actually makes it worse.

Since when did the pack leader ever let the others display dominance within the group? Must be an awful environment for the other dog.

I keep a pitbull with a cat and there is no way my dog would do anything to him. Why? Because I'm the boss and he doesn't challenge that.
comments like this make me think you should get the puppy...you're spot on its never the dogs fault always the owners!if you've asserted yourself as pack leader that shouldn't happen

I have to thank my parents for that. People are not usually born natural dog trainers.

The 21 yr old who gave me my 10 mth pitbull was though. He had 3 of them all under manners and chose me as he knew I'd be consistent and patient.

We took in a stray German shepherd when I was 11. Parents made me go to a shepherd training school which is where I was taught.

If I need to refresh something I look at YouTube videos. There are some good trainers on that.

So in other words, it's the owners who need training primarily. My pet hate is seeing people tell the dog to 'sit' 3 times. Do they really not think that the dog heard them the first time?

Haven't heard back abt the puppy on FB yet. It's 7 hours drive which is ok. Otherwise I'll hold off and see what happens next.

Gf use to train dogs but fuck all work over here for it so she'd to get another job haha. Yeah I love youtube but it's also full of twats like that cesar Millan fucker. Love German Shepherds but dang those are ugly pups lol but tbh imma stick with rottweilers it's definitely my perfect breed.if I had a load of land n time I'd love to try a doberman n closely followed by the Caucasian ovcharka but they both require some serious attention whereas with my lad 3 20 min walks a day n some play thrown in n he's snoring by my side perfect for a stoner haha.

Man one of my stupid cats keeps pissing fucking everywhere. Peed next to my side of the bed sometime last night and when I woke up I stepped in it. He also peed by the back door a bit and in another room. We can't leave any door mats on the floor because he thinks they're there to pee on. Wtf. Gonna have to kill him accidentally I think.

We got saddled with a 4.5' Iguana when our youngest son moved out - mean bastard, he'd actually chase people, bite them & tail whip em.
It got so bad we finally went for a walk in the back yard where he accidentally tripped on a shovel.

RIP fucker.
