the cig companys said the increased the price pre maturely to get all you suckers..uh.i mean smokers ready for higher prices and to offset the cost of people who stop using their product.
it is cheaper to smoke marijuana.
just stop smoking cigs and take up smoking marijuana full time so you dont have time to smoke cigs..LOL
then you dont have to pay the communists their tax.
the more you pay them to enslave you ..the more they are going to snslave you STOP PAYING THE MOTHER FUCKERS IN GOVERNMENT.
the cost of a pack of cigs wouldnt be a buck each ..the rest of the cost on a pack of cigs is ALL TAX..

A cigarette has about .8 grams of tobacco or so in it... There are 20 cigarettes in a $5.00 pack of smokes... Tell me where I can get 20 grams of premium grade cannabis for that cheap ;)
 
What would the government do if all smokers just quit on the same day? It would totally fuck them over. Their tax revenue would dry up in one full swoop.

Let's hose them, everybody quit on April 1 !!!
 
I need to quit anyway, and giving the government less of my money is a good incentive.

I wonder why they never go after booze with taxes like they do cigs? Is it because the lawmakers are a bunch of drunks and they don't want to raise their own taxes?
 
That is changing, Phillip Morris increased their prices to offset people buying less of their product.

The government is going to tax them right into bankruptcy.

Fuck it, I put my pack away, I'm done. I'll trade my unopened packs for weed, my guy smokes my brand. Done.........

alot of cig smokers smoke a pack and a half to two packs a day when hooked on them real good.
and i know you grow your own weed. you cheap ass.
just give up cigs..and grow more weed to smoke if you are worried about it.
and besides.no one smokes as much weed as they would cigs. you smoke weed..you get high you come down and smoke more weed again.
ciggs you smoke one five min latter you want another one. the fucking things are like peanuts but addictive like heroin .
i quit several yeas ago..due to a tax increase and knowing what it would do over time to my body and lungs.

I'm quitting because of the tax hike, I have more important things to do with my money than subsidize the Socialist Dreams of the Brook Trout Democrats on the Hill.

(Brook Trout - Unfocused Eyes, Gaping Mouth as they repeat to themselves, "Breathe In, Breathe Out.")

Besides, I figure with the savings I can invest more money, and probably also get cable.

Or maybe go drinking more often.

Though I like the investing option, State gets less taxes, and I get more Money, seems damn good to me.

Less than 60 cigarettes left... (I'm finishing what I have)...
 
if anyone should quit, it's me. trust. collapsed lung. shortness of breath. i cant even hop on a bike for 5 minutes without getting winded... same goes for checking my mail....


im gonnan have to quit soon... or else I'll end up just dying :(

Yesterday I tossed my pack aside, and have so far left it alone. I haven't smoked a cig in nearly 24 hours. Yes I want to, but fuck the fed. I'll quit just so they can't have anymore of my money.
 
Well, I am a Camel Wide cig smoker and will find it sad to let go. I did quit for 15 years so i know I can do it.

So for all you posters (TBT GT Miss) if you are truly going to set them aside, I suggest you leave on a high (<--high :lol:) note.

There are Chinese cig's which in my opinion are the very best in the world (Take that Phillip Morris). They are called CHUNGHWA. I have NEVER smoked a more pleasant cig in all of my days. A very fine smoke of only 10mg. (marlboro has like 25mg), and the flavor is that of a floral bouquet. You won't believe its tobacco. It has something to do with the way they ferment their tobacco over there which is quite different. Now there is an even better cig called PANDA, but unless you know a diplomat or go to China...forget it. I have been thinking of quitting but if and when I do, a Chunghwa will be my last. :lol: Darn commies...

I will still smoke my cubanos though, no matter what...:mrgreen:

Why not just order them online? I have a brother that does this and he only pays $21. a carton for Marlboro Reds(delivered). The only difference is they don't have those 'safety' bands that make them go out....other than that they are the same.

there is a product i used a few times to quit and it works very very well.
it is called CIG - NO
it is a natural herbal substance that makes your body think you have just smoked a pack of cigs and represses the desire to smoke. the herb in it is called plantago major .
you can find it on line..it is rather cheap compared to the cost of cigs. i think it was around 50 bucks for the herbal pills and spray when i stopped smoking.
if you get the stuff you will thank me latter..and your family will thank me NOW>>
 
I'm still smoking weed, cigs are secondary to that, so they're easier for me to quit. If I feel like I want a cig, I smoke a hitter, it's a similar action so it's a good replacement for now.
