Thankyou for that info . I'm one first grow currently. Opted for a organic setup and chose Fox Farms Happy Frog and Ocean Forest this first round. I'm not too pleased, the soils really inconsistent in moisture levels and even though I cut the ocean forest with happy frog my plants seem slightly overloaded . But I've heard many great things about Gaia Green and there dry ammendmants. Two of my fav YouTubers Cannucks and Mr.Grow it have persuaded me to check them out as well. It's really unfortunate Fox Farms had Deviated from there once gloried quality. As Ive had personal friends and other growers speak so highly of them.I would use them both. Worms for the microbes that break down the food. The rock dust is for micronutrients. Rock dust is a must. The all purpose and rock dust is your base.
In flower is power bloom and rock dust as the base.
Cannabis is what generally brought me here . But I kid u not the more I learn on here the more I get the urge to research about plant biology and the symbiotic relationships the plant shares with so many other forms of life . I'm personally thinking about going to school for horticultural science just because I can't get enough . It's crazy cool to me how deep u can get when my original intention was to get high for less money . Now I'm researching and learning about things like local biome and Mycorrhizae which I would have never known or possibly given time to learn about before. This thread is hilarious... I tell ya. A good thread n a nice big Doobie make for some cheap ass entertainment..lol
I almost hate seeing ORGANICS in a thread. So many avenues to succeed with it but not many truly understand the basic knowledge of it. Like mentioned. They throw it in dirt n throw some organic labeled bullshit on them and stamp the grow organic..lmfao
It's cool man. Your gonna get tons of advice. Just take what ya need n grow ya ass off. Work your own program. Things look pretty damn good in there so far.
Death threats? Immature responses? Nah. We all civilized here. Just trying to shed some light on a topic that kinda grinds my gears. Was expecting some death threats or some other Imature responses. You don't like organics threads?? Is the organics section.. so sorry. 100 percent true, heavy metals can come from food, your weed, perfumes, toys, never know. Is about reduction imo. Glad some find this thread amusing but your not my target audience. Might repost this in the newbie section. Don't worry it won't affect you money flow.

Your plants look great, but when using organics or living soil the minimum recommended gal size for a pot is 15-20gal.Green crack indica pheno hso freebie packs from 10 years ago or so

Pots r small just went with it. Likely will regret that choice..
I’m running DTW now and it’s watering itself for 10 days while I’m away. Building it all out is somewhat tedious and pricey, but once up and running, I just sit back, watch, and only add water and feed to the res. Couldn’t be any simpler.Even drain-to-waste hydro with a 1-part nutrient is either way more frequent and tedious work, or requires some automated system that you have to to set up and maintain. I'm trying to get to the same level of effort as my wife's veggie/flower garden, adding water every few days but otherwise just watching grass grow...
Oooo noooo , cannucks grow… your favorite YouTuber…. I guess he is actually a great YouTuber, super smart with marketing and promotion.Thankyou for that info . I'm one first grow currently. Yes for sure, I’d assume he is potting up before flowering?Your plants look great, but when using organics or living soil the minimum recommended gal size for a pot is 15-20gal.
It's like trying to feed an entire city with a farm that's too small when you use small containers.
Hey now, I vacuum my soil while flushing my carpet. That’s the real ticket thereAnd what does that have to do with a thread on organics you ask? Well I’m here to tell you all about “carpet organics” folks. Carpets have a thriving microbial herd, and the best way to keep them healthy is to skip the vacuum. You wouldn’t flush your soil, so why would you vacuum your carpet? My secret ingredient is cheeto crumbs. Flaming hot works in a pinch, but I find original works best. And coffee spills are already ph’d perfectly.
Ugh it kills me to see the carpet. It’s all getting ripped out soon. Now if i can stop buying seeds I might be able to use the weed budget toward some flooring. The real challenge is my wife though because if I come home with a truck full of flooring for the grow room she’s going to be mad I’m not remodeling the kitchen or something lol.My carpet is filthy I had no idea it was a good thing lol. They can eat mold spores?! Cool. I was going to tear it out and hard floor and clorox it each grow.
