Disagree with this. It's far easier for a new grower to figure out how to switch lighting from 18/6 to 12/12 and plug any light leaks than it is to make sure their feeding and growing techniques are on point from day one so that the plant isn't stunted or riddled with deficiencies when flower auto triggers.
I guess we will have agree to disagree on some things. I'm talking simplicity here. Sure dudes got a lot of garden experience and that is a huge plus. Autos are a very easy grow and excellent for anyone new to cannabis. Less possibly of error which can give the first time cannabis grower a good experience and then move on to bigger and better things.
I'm talking simplicity, too. If a beginner doesn't have their nutes, watering frequencies, and environment dialed, the plant is going to be shit and then it's going to go into flower. A photo a beginner can beat up for a couple of months and then when he or she finally has the kinks worked out and the plant is healthy, they can flip it to flower and get a good harvest.
All good points, though first growers are also eager for their first harvests. Autos get you to the finish faster.

GOOD EYE, It actually IS the same stuff they used to use in Insulation, its Vermuclite. Its actually considered a "Soilless Hydro Grow" its a combo of Coco Coir, Peat Moss, Vermuclite, with some Dolomitic Lime and Gypsum. Coco Coir was triple Buffered with a triple Strength Diy Cal Mag solution.

Here is my last grow (four new ones going now). Four autos all getting close to harvest. 90 days of growing for 3/4 pound of excellent, flavorful weed in several varieties. Just providing reasons for growing autos. I would bet significant money that you could not differentiate types between good photos and good autos, and in many cases you would prefer the autos.
