So we have old school conspiracy enthusiast joining forces with new gen crybabies.

I almost answered whitebb's question here.. I'm no fan of the Patriot Act and similar, but I'm not jumping on this bandwagon. To associate local law enforcement with high level fucking is ridiculous.

You all need a few states of your very own. God I wish it were dooable. You can always move, pack your shit I'll help..
Lol. Conspiracy? Law enforcement all over take advantage of things like asset forfeiture, and the patriot act to violate civil rights.

Jumping on the bandwagon? No. It is simply standing for what is right not jumping on a bandwagon.

But does the tail wag the dog or the dog the tail? Seems to me the only solution is to fix the laws they have to enforce. Now how do we do that?

First and foremost would be to quit ignoring peoples rights being trampled on. Stand up for our rights.

I don't want to incite violence. I believe in peaceful existence. Maybe a few more dirty pigs being killed will make a difference. Maybe not.

I do know when a cop gives me demands I don't kiss their ass and tell them I am not their dog. I have been in the courts many times fighting bullshit like this. Yes, it is time consuming and exspensive but well worth it.

I have a suspicion that his stop sign story is about as far as his police experience has been. Wait until they decide to screw with him.

A cop takes a notion that you are guilty, hard roads are to follow.

Had a cop charge me with a class b felony. It was a d misdemeanor at the most. I told him he couldn't do that. He said " I'm the police, I can do what I want." I can't say more due to a nondisclosure agreement.

They can charge you with murder. What they can prove in front of a jury of your peers is another story.

Omitted the killing part, I wonder how many of those mother and father officers gunned down this year deserved a death sentence. I'd bet most lived decent lives.

It sounds like you're more upset at the system. The almighty dollar has corrupted everything unfortunately. it's unfair to point all this at a uniform. I don't see it being pointed in any other direction with such hostility.

Far more cops killed other people's sons and daughters than lost their own lives. I'd love to hear your justification for that.

How do you know the ones killed were deserving of the sentence? Did they get a trial? I have very close family that is LEO and military so this hits very close to home for me. They can not pick and choose what they enforce. They enforce the laws on the books. If you don't want it enforced you have to legislate that. The cops are merely the tip of our domestic policy spear completely analogous with the military being the tip of our foreign policy spear.

Essentially legislators and the people make the law.
Law enforcement management makes the decisions on priority and focus of enforcement.
Ground troops are usually just trying to make it home alive.

Trust me you go to the local legislators and bother them about confiscatory policing they will not hear you. Guess where a lot of their money comes from. So it's a very fine line to tread being in LEO now. I do not think hating and killing is going to solve this.

We need to take the system back and frankly I don't think mere campaign reform will do anything when one party is just as bad as the other. Then again that is why I stayed very far out of this. I can tangibly heal someone, I can argue for someone and I can write code but fixing something as complex and broken as this is, I do not even pretend I have the answers.

But I can say stridency and anger regarding a subject have always been clues that that is not the answer.

I'm aware of the numbers. I wonder how many deaths could have been prevented through cooperative behavior vs. aggressive, potentially life threatening behavior? Goes back to who I feel is responsible. It takes an ethnicity, and the misguided that support their aggressive, deadly movement. Take all this feeling of racial profiling and civil rights infringement into the first ten seconds of an encounter with an officer, like you're the fucking boss, well it's half on you. Nice job putting your family first..

I'll say I think black America needs another MLK. I like President Obama. I think he has the integrity and class to lead a peace movement. Maybe he should..

BULLSHIT. Any cop will tell you that they can choose what to enforce, they do it every day. It's called discretion and they use, nevermind MISuse it constantly.

If you want to know why We the People are pissed at cops, I invite you to listen to the NYPD advocate. The guy sounds like a jack booted fascist thug and instead of being handed his walking papers, he has the support of the force?

You begin your reply to me by vehemently swearing. This is the third time you have answered me back in a disrespectful manner. Point at one post I have had with you wherein I have been disrepectful towards you. Just because I disagree with you does not give you the right to disrespectfully attack me. This will be the last post from you that I answer to the subject and ignore your disrespect. If you wish to debate with me I'm good feel free but do it politely.

As for you speaking for "We the People" who elected you? You do not speak for me. Further without a vote I don't believe you speak for the majority. Looking at our current governmental crisis I don't think Donald or Hillary speak for the vast majority.

As for LEO, I know many of them, my family was an odd mix of cops, robber and the military. So I got both sides from early years. Further I would not dream of generalizing their opinions to all of their fellow officers. Finally I ask you what direct experience you have here beyond listening to emotional arguments on the internet or what you read in the newspapers (assuming people still read newspapers). What have you studied historically that supports these conclusions etc....?

Your argument that all the good cops should quit is currently the law enforcement milieu we have. Why? Because most decent people can't enforce laws that are atrocities in and of themselves. Maybe we should start the cleaning at the top instead of people just trying to make a living and stay alive. Not that there aren't many bad apples that need to go but to throw out the baby with bathwater has never been a solution of the educated.

Your thin skin gets you in trouble. Bullshit isn't 'vehement swearing', it's calling out blatant untruths in your assertions, nevermind that it isn't a personal attack. But get butthurt if you insist.

None of the rest of this adds up to a point that I can find.

It's beginning to look like opting out of the federal government is the only way forward. My fight isn't with you anyway; it's with the oligarchs who see fascism practiced against the people as a profitable situation. They use the law and the authorities to commit violence for them.

So why do you defend it?
