Quite true. I'm purely theoretical when it comes to politics and despise all that bring it into practice. It never works. Good on paper, but never works. It's always a race to see who can fuck it up the least.They may have evolved from the same side of the coin, but modern liberalism and Libertarianism are completely opposite sides of the coin. Most liberals and people on the left consider Libertarians to be on the right. I consider myself an Independent/Libertarian because I do not belong to any party. My beliefs are more in line with the Libertarian ideology but I don't like to box myself in because there are things I agree with on all sides of the political spectrum and a lot of things I disagree with.
At least in the publics mind. The politicians however have other intentions entirely. lol No taxation without representation?! Hell. I don't even want to be represented if I DO pay taxes...

I've read the Old Testament and New Testament cover to cover.... brilliant literary devices and simply prodigious authors.Old Testament was definitely my favorite.
So have I. I've studied the old and new testament in Seminary, Institute and Sunday School. Not to mention mandatory courses at BYU.

my dad is retired too and he supports obama, me im on the fence, but he might not get his check to and you know what he said, he a veteren or two wars by the way
the countrys future my children children's future is more important and that he has made a good life and has people to lean on

Even if you took all the politicians in the world and put them all on a rocket and blasted them off into space, it wouldn't be long before new politicians would take their place and in turn become corrupted by the system. I think most politicans start off with the best of intentions. If they want to play ball and keep their careers, they generally have to compromise at least SOME of their values. Every last person on Earth wants to do the job differently. They shouldn't be labeled the same things... lol They're just individuals. The very definition of that word means 'separate'!
