....alright....this is for you brandon....this is one of my super floppy vortexes, with a canopy ring inside....you can't see it, but it is in there holding everything up, notice how nice and round she is!....honestly, i don't know how you could grow it without one.....like sub's description says..."lots of sticks and string".......i hate sticks and string....no offense to anyone....but i can't hang with bud flop.......i am also thinking of running my best vortex outdo, just to see what she can do, plus i have a sneaky suspicion, it is going to be in very high demand......my best vortex is a little bit heavier stemmed, and she has this black peper smell i adore along with the syrupy mango thing.............oh, the four legged cages work the best, there are three and four, but the four legged are stouter....and make sure the top ring is at least 16 inches in diameter....i am seriously considering having some stainless ones welded up with a 20-24 in. ring dia......for my 20 gal smarts outdo....peace, nugs

they are going to be light....i don't want to speculate yet.....none of these plants were main-lined....that would have drastically improved the yield......i am going to say this right now......when you guys see the main-lined 8 headed ace in a few weeks....we are all going to shit ourselves....this plant is going to yield monster! she is at 23 days, and i have never seen anything like it.......she is the first true "mainlined" plant i have grown, and up until her, all this "main-lining" shit has been based purely on my crack-pot theories alone.....this is going to be a big deal....gives me shivers just looking at her.......stay tuned.

i may have to harvest the vortex around day 54......she is at 49, and covered with amber....hope she is a hammer!.....prolly take ace at the same time.....flav at around 58, and qt (which i overfed from the start) at 64+....they are greener than green.....oops.

.....so with that....heaviest to lightest feeders for me went like this.......vortex, flav, ace, qt.

Flav #2....i call this one "poodle".....balls on a string........medium yielder.....more earthy/hashy smell, with understated cherry.....the most resin of all the tga gear!

flav2.jpgflav#2.jpg

well, this is where my outdo is at......i start really late....will run 8 total, just waiting to see if i want to run a few more a.o.s. ....so waiting on 8 heads to show me what shes got, cause i run only proven winners outdo.....20 gal. smarties/main-lined......very similar to how Budologist is running his....

BRO, i havent gotten a chance to sit down n read this
i wish you all the best with your condition tho

as far as the outdoor goes, the 20 gal smarties,
you have experience with them?
i just bought 8 30 gal ones and filling them in this weekend
i was wondering, is that TOO MUCH?
NO, right?
theres GDP CHEM DAWG IV AND BLUE DREAM
they all were clones and have been outside this entire month
there's still enough season left for them to use it all up right?

the secret the smart pots outdoors, is not to put them out too early....they can't handle a long veg time, cause they will be outgrown....unless you use monster 200-300 gal.pots like they do up in the triangle......think of it being slightly larger than an indoor run, but using the sun instead........here is an example.....last year i cracked seeds on the first of june, transpanted from a 3 gal hardside pot into a 10 gal smart about the second week of july......she finished about 48 inches tall bush(pruned for 8 mains), and yielded 10 zips.....i was blown away, and started thinking about the ounce per gallon principle......along side her, i had plants whose beans were cracked on the first of may, and grown in 30 gal. smarts.....and yielded about the same!....it is all about timing, nutrient load, and energy expendature......never let them over-veg, and run out of gas during the 4th week of flower.....i see it all the time around here.....folks put there plants out too early, leaving them suseptable to early summer bugs, and holes or pots that run out of gas.......because there is a misconception going on.....folks think that bigger plants mean bigger yields......but it is a ratio we are dealing with....those big trees also have to produce stems, leaves, and roots....all of which takes lots of energy.....not to mention the support issues......i have learned through my bonzai work, that if you want bud.....you concentrate on growing just that......structure first of course.....but with everything natural, there is the line of diminishing returns.....and as important it is to develop an eye for dank...it is equally important to develop an eye to recognize where that line lies.

i have seen 200 gal. smarts with a tree growing in it, that started to fade at week 4....at that point, you can't properly get on top of it, even using liquid supplementation....what a shame.....imho, you want to see the first signs of fade 20 days before harvest....indoor, or out...and if you are using small smarties....that window can become very elusive....again, it takes a dedication to paying attention to the small details.......the big "tree" movement taught me a lot......and imho...the really wise growers are not trying to grow 10+ lb. plants of meds at 70% of thier potential ....they are growing 3-5 lb. plants of pure dank at 100%.....check out weeden for example.
