Miracle Grow Works Fine

Sounds good. Mine will be done around Halloweenish. So it'll be like Halloweed. Lol, I'm just high. That should be a strain though.

My first few grows were with Miracle Grow soil and nutes. The best success I had with MG Soil was that Organic Blend they sell. It was fine. I didn't have any problems, and had some really nice smoke at the end as well.

Obviously there are better things to use, but people really go overboard imo with the negative comments on MG. It's just not that serious, and I guess it depends on one's level of involvement in the hobby. I like to think of myself as a 'casual grower' in that I don't earn an income from it, if I really wanted herb and didn't grow it I know where to buy it without having to visit some shady street corner, so it just wasn't that big of a deal at the time.

Since I now have a spot pretty local to me that sells grow products, I dont use MG anymore. And purchasing the stuff I use now in a bigger bag is actually cheaper than MG I usually get in smaller bags closer to me. But if I ever had to grow with MG again, I'd be willing to bet that I could grow just as nice of a plant with that than anything else. By that I mean, someone sampling some of my herb with/without MG would be just as satisfied.

what's good to grow wit other than mg ??

well MG is not so deffernt from other plant foods but i know it does not hav Cal/mag or sulfer so you may have to spice it up a bit ...

And all three of those things could be bought at the store.
Especially the Calcium and Magnesium, then just added to water in tiny doses. I have never used anything but MG though.

Are any three of those things important for flowering? If so I'm gonna get some.

Yes. Just get a good flush. The bloom nutes (in the purple box) work very well imo.

Question. What does everyone here think about adding ashes to a grow as soil and fertilizer.

Bud from a clinic. An o smoked worth of ashes a week on it.

Good or bad do you think?

Ashes will raise your PH over time because the alkali in the ashes will eventually begin to accumulate in the soil, back in the day it was used back in the day to manufacture lye. yada yada fight club

so if i used miracle grow will the plant not produce as much fragrance?

i could be wrong, but as long as its NPK at the correct amount - it doesn't matter whether its Miracle Grow or whatever else formula.
I also never used miracle gro until i ran out of money for more expensive stuff.
I would NOT use miracle gro in hydroponics. but i know for sure that miracle gro does just fine in soil. miracle grow, superthrive, and soil - all i need for now.

I'm using MG as well, and I am also using some regular seeds that I would call practice schwagg, I just started with the nutes today, but I have used MG potting soil as well. I should have results around the same time as you. I have 3 different plants right now, 2 small and 1 medium (month old). I've completely nig rigged up a lighting system with the CFL's in my laundry room, and I have a lighting system in the mail that I bought last week. I'm pumped to be able to be a self-perpetuating smoker.

Basement. I'm pumped to be able to get some free smoke too. And I really can't wait to start breeding.
