Marjorie Taylor Greene

'Chose' because he was homeless.
Ummm, sure. If you divorce, and are forced to move out, I guess you're technically homeless. I didn't read anything about threats he was receiving, and if that's the case, then I understand why he would want to move out of the area. He could have still stayed in the state and been within election laws. I don't know. Maybe I read it wrong.

Greene lashes out over attempts to remove her from committees
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) lashed out over a reported proposal to remove her from one of her committees amid her past controversial comments. Greene railed against a reported proposal by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) to remove her from the Education and Labor Committee in exchange for Democrats dropping a vote to take her off that panel as well as the Budget Committee.

“No matter what @GOPLeader does it would never be enough for the hate America Democrats,” she tweeted. “They are only set out to destroy Republicans, your jobs, our economy, your children’s education and lives, steal our freedoms, and erase God’s creation. And the bloodthirsty media are their henchmen who help them by relentlessly attacking anyone in their path.”

There’s really something very wrong with her. Very wrong. They almost seem like they have to be actors, her in particular.

She's going to have a huge pile of cash come 2022. Trumpers aren't poor just poor at reasoning.

Not really the best candidate. But it is hard to find quality people to subject themselves to an electoral ass-kicking by these people.

Thanks to gerrymandering, the number of Marjorie Taylor Greens is likely to increase.

I politely asked one of our Trump hat wearing customers today about his beliefs regarding Trump's imminent return as POTUS. He quickly explained how the IRS is not a government entity and the 10-40 form is a way for us taxpayers to send money to England. Apparently, he thinks the US owed England a lot of money for the two world wars.

Yeesh. I calmly explained to him the England owed the US 3.9 fucktons of monies and that they repaid that debt in 2007. But he read it on the interwebs - so he wasn't buying it.

If she gets beat in two years, a Republican is going to have to be the one to do it.
Gotta love the sign in the photo: I absolutely agree. The entire Q/ANON alternate-reality game represents the largest single loss of sense/intelligence in the nation’s history

House to vote Thursday to drop Greene from all committees
House Democratic leaders are gearing up to vote Thursday on legislation stripping Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) of her committee spots — unless Republican leaders do it first.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) spoke with his counterpart, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), about Greene's fate Wednesday morning, with Hoyer suggesting afterwards that the GOP leader is not ready to remove the controversial conservative firebrand from a pair of top committees.

"I spoke to Leader McCarthy this morning, and it is clear there is no alternative to holding a Floor vote on the resolution to remove Rep. Greene from her committee assignments," Hoyer said in a statement. "The Rules Committee will meet this afternoon, and the House will vote on the resolution tomorrow."

McCarthy announces no disciplinary actions against Greene
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) announced no disciplinary actions against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) in a statement released as he met with his caucus. During the meeting, he told members he did not want to remove Greene from her committee assignment, according to a senior GOP source in the room. In the statement, McCarthy condemned her incendiary remarks, but offered no disciplinary actions.

“Past comments from and endorsed by Marjorie Taylor Greene on school shootings, political violence, and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories do not represent the values or beliefs of the House Republican Conference," the statement read. "I condemn those comments unequivocally. I condemned them in the past. I continue to condemn them today. This House condemned QAnon last Congress and continues to do so today.”

"It is OK that a person with your moral values represents the GOP." "Well not really OK but we have low standards."

Top House Republican suggests Ethics panel should review Greene committee assignments
Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) suggested Wednesday that the House Ethics Committee should consider whether Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) should lose her committee assignments rather than the full House.

Cole, who has served in the House for nearly two decades and is the top Republican on the Rules Committee, argued during a hearing on a resolution to remove Greene from the Education and Labor and Budget committees that it's a slippery slope if the majority party moves unilaterally to remove a member of the minority party from committees.

"The Ethics Committee should review the matter in question, determine if a new standard relating to actions taken by a member of Congress before they are elected should be covered by the code of conduct, and make the appropriate recommendations. Doing anything different would risk sending the institution down a precarious path, the end of which we cannot predict," Cole said.

I guess the House Minority Leader and the Top House Republican do not talk much together. Or a case of sucking and blowing at the same time for the GOP.

Greene apologizes to GOP colleagues — and gets standing ovation
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) apologized for her past controversial remarks and embrace of the QAnon conspiracy theory during a heated closed-door House GOP conference meeting — and received a standing ovation at one point from a number of her colleagues.

Greene told her colleagues that she made a mistake by being curious about “Q” and said she told her children she learned a lesson about what to put on social media, according to two sources in the room. She also denied that she knew what Jewish space lasers were and defended her comments that past school shootings were staged by stating that she had personal experience with a school shooting.

She received a standing ovation from some members of the caucus at the conclusion of her remarks.

"I only was curious if I liked girls and did not mean to post the picture of us." "As far as the school shootings, I know it didn't happen from persoel experience as I went to school and never was shol at."

Well Maj, that was only because you posted the pictures after grad.

Hmm. If only I could see something from other than thehill.com regarding this.
