looking good, one questions though.. do you have them in bags in a container, or a container in a bag.. or a container with mylar on top? lol

I mainly asking cause im using the grow bags and was wondering if I could just keep them in the bags the whole grow considering im able to keep them upright.
I have them in black pots and had them wrapped in mylar :-)

Yes, you can keep them in bags for the entire grow as long as they are stable :-P

The 2 babies in the bottom left corner on pic 1 and 2 look really good. Hope the "others" catch up.

I planted 4 clones today and now its only 7-10 days till chop chop the first of the big ladies :blsmoke:

Have a nice weekend Weedy!

I will be tuning in for the chop chop! I'll keep tabs on the clones :-)

Have a nice weekend to you too CaL! :weed:

Two champion phenotypes have been growing really fast! I intend to transplant them later just before the dark period. I've been doing 18/6 for a week now and growth is still going well. Note the internodes in the pictures. I really focused on the internodes.

Right now I am just hoping the fast growing, robust ones are the females because I haven't been very much fond of the runts. I don't have this "I'll save it maybe it will get a grow spurt and be my best-smoking pheno" pessimism. I had this newbie mistake before when I planted 10 regular bagseeds. I killed the slow-growing ones and only kept two of the fastest growing, robust plants. Those two turned out to be female. I don't know if it was just luck, or the females just grew better? Of course now I know better. Great strains, after all, not just came from great mothers, but also great fathers.

So now, the main goal is to flower 3 to 4 robust females under 400W lights, even if some are clones taken from the best pheno.

I am taking comfort in the knowledge that in my last couple of grows it's usually the robust ones that are females. But I still get worried because in some of the grow journals that I have read, even the robust ones become male. I'm a bit anxious about that situation.

But I'm hopeful :-) Positive thoughts!

As I have mentioned before, I have two out of eight Satoris whose growth have been impressive.

At 18 days, they are 4 inches tall, have thick stems and 3 growing internodes.

Plant 8 has the strongest smell among others. It's a very pleasant floral and fruity smell.

These are two of the qualities Mandala boasts off of their strains and I have them!

Oh, and I haven't fed them any nutes yet. Only worm castings. :weed:

Thanks Joe! I just transplanted them ( Plant 1 and Plant 8 ) into 2 gallon pots today and found massive root growth at the bottom! No wonder they were growing really fast.

At about 2 or 3 days after transplant, I will feed them with an organic compost tea mixture of bat guano, fish emulsion and seaweed. It is also micro-nutrient enriched. Stinky stuff, but I hope it will provide to be good food :-)

Good stuff!

Sounds similar to the stuff I use, alg-a-mic ,
I would imaging the stuff at the bottom of a pond to smell the same! Very fishy indeed!

Hi Weedy,

I started germing 6 Satori seeds on 2/7 in Rockwool cubes. I am using Hempy buckets of 100% perlite under a 600W HPS for vegging and flower. For nutes I am using Pure Blend Pro Grow and Bloom, as well as Cal-Mag. My temps range from 69-81 with a low humidity ranging from 28-32.

Took just over 4 days for the first to poke out, and the rest followed within the coming days. I am amazed at how fast these are growing now! My tallest is about 4.5 inches and climbing!

Have you checked out Mike's FAQ on the Mandala site? It has really helped me a lot as this is my first grow. He gives many strain specific pointers and tips. http://www.mandalaseeds.com/html/faq.html and there are a few other guides on the left hand side of the page as well.

I'll try to get some pics of my setup up later on if youd like. I'll be watching this!

Hello Vr6225!

I can imagine your plants would be really big and lush by now! 600w is a powerful light! :weed:

Yes, I have been studying the Mandala strains for quite a while now. It was mostly the Satori that proved to be more impressive. I have also thought about growing 8 Miles High after this.

Let's keep tabs! Post pictures of your plants if you can.

I'll get some pics up later today! I also picked up Kalichakra and Mandala #1 Seeds and have 4 Satori seeds left. I'm already itching to get the other seeds going!

I'll be waiting for that!

Get the other seeds going! They're regular F1 seeds and you have to watch out for the growth variations and the male/female ratio.

I will post pictures tomorrow to start the third week of growth :-)

Nice start; I'm scribed. I've been intrigued with Mandala stuff for awhile; next grow I will def get some of their beans. Their FAQ is great, too. Good luck; I look forward to the next set of pics.

Just before their bedtime. I plan on cleaning up that duct work in the near future as well as getting myself an oscillating fan.

The two I put up are the biggest and came out of the rockwool just 14 days ago!
Badass setup; nice plants -- good work, mate!
