The FDA doesn’t decide the classification for whether drugs are illegal or not. The DEA does.
And they have known about cbd at least for years. The government holds patents on it and how to extract it.

What are you talking about? Cbd is known not to be psychoactive and thc is known to be psychoactive there is no conspiracy over that.
Psychoactive substances tend to be regulated. Right or wrong and usually for money reasons not our safety.

I'll answer the question and clarify..
CBD is schedule 1 as are all extracts as far as I'm aware, and the FDA is involved in determining what drugs are classified and their classification.
What do you think about these classifications? Was it stupid people with no degrees or PHDs and scientists that led to the current classifications?
Anyways, this tangent is getting very far from my point of "sometimes doctors are not always right" stemming from the call to authority with the suggesting that only stupid people support conspiracies where we have a prime example of PHDs participating in one.

Cbd oil is available online and in health stores. It is not classified as schedule 1. Thc is.

I’m replying because I am taking part in a discussion in an open forum.
The appeal you linked is about rescheduling not what you are implying. And the dea relies on drug busts to stay in business. That is all it is about.

Sure. You said (not implied) that the fda has doctors that have said pot is bad or unhealthy and that is why it is illegal.
I am saying the dea decides that and that doctors do not make their decision. Arrest records do.
It has already been established that thc is psychoactive and that is all they need to schedule it as if it is a narcotic.
As far as educated or not people choose to believe what they want like the moon landing. It is easy to pretend to see patterns or proofs of whatever we want. It is known as confirmation bias and phd’s do it as often as other people do.
That is why a neutral tester is in charge of a true scientific experiment. If the scientist trying to prove something is the judge confirmation bias can influence the results.
