The word "again"

There needs to be another youth movement like in the 60's.

The times they are a changin
Some people don't like Gen Z. I think they're awesome.

Broadly speaking, their distaste of meaningless economic engagement and their intrinsic understanding of social change and internet information are going to fuel a more passive but powerful form of civic protest.

Republicans are crying hard and fighting with their last ounce of effort because they know they won't be able to hold back this tsunami. Change is happening faster. America looks more like America should by the day (diverse and accepting). Folks who want it to be like it was when they grew up are going to continue feeling disappointed.

Great idea. The 1860's right? When the Republican Women's Club of Hartford Connecticut formed the Wide Awakes and made their sons attend the meetings. The club called attention to racial injustice and unfair labor practices, and tried to find ways to improve their lot. They used that platform to turn out the youth vote. It worked. Lincoln won. All the woke movements of today are offshoots of the wide awakes. Starting them back up would be a poke in the eye to today's GOP.

Snacks being handed out by young ladies was most likely the real reason it caught on, so if you start your own group, you should keep that in mind. These days the best choice to get the young folks involved might be climate change. Or LGBT and reproductive right, etc, etc.
