im curious to see what your lr2s look like now. Ive got 3 growing now, i think they are a little over a month old its my first grow. i go feminized seeds but is there still a chance they could be male? when do buds start showing on them? ill post a pic of mine if i can figureout how to do it.

alright i think i got this figured out. Sorry if i am posting in the wrong forum i just figured id ask some people that knew a little something about it. i dunno if you can see it to good in the pictures but some of the leaves look a little burned i think from over fert? Also these seeds were supposed to be feminized. Im not completely sure how to tell the difference. do they look like they are females or do you need a closer look at the stem? Its crazy how completely different they are from eachother given the grew up in the same enviroment. Ones tall and not so filled going up the stem, ones tall and quite filled going up the stem, and the other just doesnt seem to be growing much at all but is short and bushy. if anybody can help me out id appreciate it. i got them in a small dresser type deal roughly 27inches wide x 23inches high x 16inches depth. 5 spiral cfl's cause thats what i can afford, a make shift intake and exhaust system and a small fan blowing on them.

the oxy's are why i had little sympathy for his situation.... but it was his choice. that's crazy if they opened before you could get em out of there... i get mine out as soon as the lil ball that will be the sack starts to form, but even then when i save for pollen it usually takes until the top sack cola forms before any usable pollen is ready... and i found with most of my male's that even when the first sacks opened (the lower ones) they did not release pollen.... if the little flowers inside the sacks were still green they prolly didn't have pollen in em. you can tell if your females were pollinated by wether or not the flowers turn brown and die off. here are a couple pics, the first is of a pollenated lr2 bud and the second is of a non pollinated bud, both at 40 days.

what line of work are you in? if you don't mind me askin.
Trust me from personal experience. After 7 years of heavily abusing Oxy's, Lortab, Lorcet and any other (opiate) pain killer I could get my hands on, I'm very proud to have gone 8 months now without touching them. Getting off that shit was probably the hardest thing I've ever had to do and it's still an everyday battle. just fucking stay away from it!!!

Sorry to get off topic in your thread Doc.

Yes you can but most people say the recommended is 18/6 all the way through with lowryder.
What other plant were you planning on growing with it?

Duece.

there a month old???? man o man i must have a green thumb or something.... mine will be four weeks tomorrow and i have nice lil buds formin with that good ol lr2 smell kickin. i am not using any ferts in my grow, these guys don't really need to much when you do use it..... they can also handly colder temps very well....there could alot of differen't reasons why your could be so scraggly lookin..... too much water, not enough water, too much ferts, to hot...... i'd say keep em on regular water for a week or two and when you water water with a spray bottle in the morning, just enough to get the top of the soil moist.

i should post pics in the next two days, i have to borrow a camera cuz mines dead.

if you got the fems.... there prolly females, i'm sure the odds of gettin a herm are pretty low.

Thanks alot, it's been tough. I'm sorry to hear about your friend loss. It's not an easy thing to deal with, I lost my only brother a little over 2 years ago as a result of an accidental overdose, he was Dr. shopping (getting scripts from a bunch of different doctors) so he had several pain killer prescriptions as well as anti-depressants. He had a few drinks after work one night along with whatever pills he had taken and stopped breathing in his sleep. He was 2 years older than me and we were very close so it kinda fucked me up. I'm lucky I always hated needles and I never shot up anything or I probably would have shot the Oxy's like a couple of my buddies were doing and who know's where I'd be right now, I just liked to eat them.

Again, sorry to go completely off topic and I'm really not trying to bum anyone out, just keep it natural and stay away from that chemical SHIT!!!

Yeah they are almost exactly a month old from the time they sprouted and were put in the ground. i guess im not cut out for this growing stuff, but it sure is fun watching them grow.
