one of my fans seized up today... luckily i was home.... guess there was alot of dust and what not in it. so it was smokin pretty bad and i was in a hurry to get everything out... i had two three week old girls in 2 inch pots propped up on the side of the bed.... one fell in and broke one of the small girls in the bed at the base of her stem..... luckily the three week one was alright.... glad it was one of the small ones.... i hadn't said fuck in a while, so i guess it was about time anyway. should have pics tomorrow, the rest are lookin good.

check out this sprout........ notice anything strange? if it's a girl she will be pollinated. if not i got some more pollen, i wanna see what it does.
It looks like this one's a little ahead of itself. The grow is looking awesome man...keep up the good work. So my seedlings are a little on the sick side, I think they got a little dry. I was in the hospital with what had to be one of the worst cases of food poisoning, so they were neglected yesterday. Hopefully they'll be ok though.

and the sprout. it had three cotyledons (the round leaves) and three first true leaves...... it sprouted yesterday morning. it's an inbreed hillbilly.

what did u inbreed for that mutation to happen?
lr2xlr2xlr2..... and so on..... out of over 140 germinated this is the first, it definatly will be used for more inbreeding no matter what sex, three first true leaves would mean three bottom branches, which is great for lr2 cus usualy only the first three sets of nodes will put out actual side branches.

the pollen has all been from a male who had some crazy leaves patterns on him, on his third set of true leaves there were 11 induvidual leaves on each set, the went back to five. i have a pic of one of his offspring which was also male, but the 11 sets came out on the fourth node instead of the third... i have pollen from him too.

Wow your gonna create a crazy super mutant! lol awesome!

Hey, so I was looking at your recent pics and what you just said about the LR2's and branching on the first 3 sets of nodes....And I'm wondering what you cut or prune?

Because my ladies are in a bad need of a hair cut, and thursday I was thinking of removing the lower fan leaves on the nodes and some of the tertiary nodes...At about week 3 I cut the fan leaves from the base all the pretty much to the top (about 6 levels), to allow light in the center and I havent pruned since and tomorrow starts week 6 from seed...

Basicaly I was thinking of removing just about everything from the base to about 6" up...

What do you think Oh Wise One?

I'll have pics tomorrow...

Thanks
Peace

i prune off main fan leaves up to about the fifth node around week four, just to let light down to the bottom.... i know that growing these in hydro they REALLY pack on some leaves, in my bucket i trimmed of all of the main fans in week four then in week six i went through and trimmed out some of the bigger side fan leaves..... quite a few actualy. then in week 8 i trimmed off anything that didn't have crystals.... the first three nodes branching...... not the case in hydro for me.... i still have the stalk, heres a pic of it.

Hey Zoid, Looking at your close-ups on these recent pics and last week and it looks like you got trichs. I'm a week behind you an mine have no trichs. I only have only one lady that is now pollinated(all but the main cola). Don't you think I should have trichs by now? Your grow is looking good.

Any news/update on your oxymoron neighbor?

if your a week behind me in week four there are just the beginings of trichs on the bigger girls, now in week five all the bigger ones have quite a few... but the smaller ones are laggin.... just wait, they seem to show up over night.... not to mention that i am using the best fertilizer in the world..... none.
