How often do you get bugs in your FFOF?

Hmmm, you go by directions on the bag or just throw a handful down when you think they need it. I'm inquiring because I have a sm bag and my current soil has only been cooking about 10 days. I have a couple that are yellowing quick. I've been thinking an amendment like this or those organic Jobes spikes my do the trick
I follow the directions. Sometimes more. What size pot are yours in?

About a big spoonful per gallon of soil. If they need more, add more.

For my vegetable garden I follow directions plus about 25%.

It says non burning and it hasn't burnt any of my plants.

Fox Farm?
Jobes spikes?
Organic vs Synthetic?
It guess it really doesn't matter what the topic is.

This is similar to standing in a circle full of bikers arguing over who's ride is "better" From the 70s -to present day....the faces change but debate is the same.

That why theres so much skin at Bike Week. Tits seem to be the only thing that diverts the arguing...if only temporarily

Many roads can lead to the same destination.

I agree with your reasoning.

And even though this isn't TNT, I opened your quote fully expecting a request for nudes. ;)

Not sure if I'm disappointed in your effort or relieved I don't have snark back

I need more coffee.............

@Dr. Who

Believe who you want.

I have posted everything I said in real time. Here and on the other site.

I did not exaggerate or embellish. Just true accounts of what happened.

As well as my history and background.

You are mired in doubt and it shows in every post.

But you are on your own. I will not help you further.

I am flattered you want to date me so bad. ;-)

to each their own prolly. so like if your bag lasted you 3 years, or 10, wouldnt that be dependent on how may plant you grow err
I'd guess more of these conditions may play a part

container size, substrate used, watering techniques, run off amounts, plant health, size, plant numbers, flowering times, veg times,
rh, temperature etc. you think?

or, if you had a hundred buckets would that bag of 60 last you as long? um..

peace, good morning
I only grow for myself, and follow the plant count laws, so i only flower 6 big plants to try to get 3 pounds per run, i use 4 spikes per plant, so that's 24 spikes per run so the bag lasts 2 runs and costs 6$, seems pretty reasonable to me...

I think the fighting has come near it's end. Not much else can be said at this point, It will just be repetitive and become boring soon without new material, at least for the rest of us. Bet if it happens again the ratings on it will be down.

Love real time bud porn, hate it when it looks better than mine, but I still want to see it.

A lot of scientists here and no one can say if ingredients in ffof may create stronger conditions for gnats to survive and thrive versus other soils, sad. Guess it wasn't scientific enough. I did enjoy chemphlegm's answer.

And a real life real time gnat story gets lost in the garble, probably my own garble. I have more real life gnat stories for another day. Probably irrelevant to the pirated direction of the thread.

Her is a tip for the Buba's out there, the one's that can't spell Bubba.
Don't feel sad that you don't have a clue about some of the things being said above, I don't either. You don't need to worry about that shit to grow dank weed.
You just need a good environment, good soil a seed and water.

My confidence is still high that I will have dank xtal this time, strong indicators are plant conditions and not surprisingly my water style. It is quite similar to the way I watered before I ran into problems.
My tasks are fun now. Mostly trying to figure out how and when my plants pray. Hope praying 24/7 is a good thing because that's what I'm shooting for.

My nicest bud picks are pre 2016. The mediocre bud above is the best I had in 3 grows, or for me 2 years. If the grow taking place now (water only, 3 week flower) does not develop the xtal I'm looking for, I will retire my avatar and put the most recent shitty bud in place of my avatar.

I must be thinking about the wrong "spikes".
My wife uses them on her office plants and they are about two inches long & w/smaller diameter than a pencil.
No fucking way you could flower in promix with those, so obviously I am mistaken.
I think.
Gonna go search the internet...

Gotta love the art work on some of the bottles :) People see a lush jungle garden on the bottle and know it has to be good, along with a slight nudge from the salesman lol.
Stoner art means the product is awesome for cannabis.
Duh.
Me grow gude erb. :dunce:

I just need something to give that little extra bump for the really hungry girls...or more specifically, new stuff on its first run that I don't have dialed in yet. And I really hate brewing teas. I like simplicity.

Dude!
(rolling eyes)
Nutrient teas are the easiest thing EVER because they don't require aeration (like microbial tea).
Hell I need to go downstairs and start some neem tea for tomorrow morning.
It's another "semi-organic" experiment.

No, you don't want to know.

I am nuts. :eyesmoke:

Dude!

Its not the aeration. I'm not gonna go into plant counts but doing this would be a total PITA for me. Its the very type of thing I'm trying to avoid.

If it works for you great. Keep on keepin on.

4 is cheap for sure. I grow 72 within the law, as many flowered as I want at one time, usually full time 25 in the flowering room perpetually. I used 8 in veg and 8 spikes per plant in flower, onset + 30 day, full time in a perpetual harvest to get to the expressions I'm comfortable with. If I was unable to source my organicare I'd go for the spikes again.
looks like we got this dialed in right!
