Reports out today indicate that flynn could have begun his flip last July, and may have been wearing a wire since then.
He was out of the wh by then, but he seemed to be in contact with trumps orbit, and certainly with his attorneys. And manafort may be heading to prison having violated his bail agreement by plotting with a russian agent to ghostwrite a favorable article about himself. Maxwell smart was a nobel lauriet in comparison.
In the meantime, the state department is almost completely gutted, the cia is next if cotton gets put in charge, any office that has science in it is slated for shutdown/militarization/commercialization in trumps budget proposal for next year, a tax plan is about to be passed that benefits only the top 0.1%, net neutrality is about to go (and with it, riu, and just about every progressive blog/website available to us), national monuments are being sold off to preferred buyers, trump hotels are being built by state run businesses of at least 3 countries/allies, and in general, the freedom of the press is being drowned in a bathtub by the right.

The only part of this I disagree with is your suggestion that the CIA is about to be fired. Oh no- that's the new State Department. Diplomacy by rendition! They're expanding that agency because they don't like playing by the rules and they think the CIA doesn't have to.
