I'm loving this frosty Steve Lemme OG pheno I got this time. I'll have to see how it smokes but the genetics in it's lineage say it should be potent. I'm going to run it again most likely with some Purest Indica and some BOG Seeds stuff. I'm pulling close to 45K lux and watching it for now. I'm dialing it back as I get closer to finished. Hopefully they will come in just in time before the sugar leaves get crispy. I'm guessing a Halloween harvest time frame but it's up to them. Once you get the distance figured out just right I'm betting you're going to do great with these. They're perfect for the canopy style you have.
Training into the net sooner is definitely on my to do list. These last 2 plants never had a chance lol. They were 2.5ft tall & I Supercropped the living heck out of them. Maybe this one doesn’t like the abuse like the others have.

I need a tent that's about a foot taller like one of the Gorilla tents with the extension. I'm sick of running out of height, I just want to be able to veg 60 days and flip without stressing about the canopy height. I could try the net but I like being able to move them around if I need to. We'll figure it out between the two of us lol.

I planted 4 of the Purest Indica seeds and I got 4 heads popping up. Really excited to see what they might have in store for the next grow. I'm hoping for 2 females at least, but luck is what it is. The BOG seeds I planted haven't shown any movement yet but I'll be patient, they're 5 years old and I kept them in the freezer. I'm just hoping they will pop eventually. These are off to their foster home now as I can only have four plants and now that they're up, they're off. By the time that this grow is done and I get done with harvest they should be up and running. Hope you all had a good weekend and your plants are getting big.

Thanks, I'll take all the positive energy I can get for those beans. I'm hoping, I soaked them for 12 hours in a gentle peroxide soak and then went straight to soil. I have a couple seeds of each strain I held back in case of germination issues so I can give it a more intensive try with longer soaks and some seed scuffing. Hopefully I won't need them because the Sour bubble aren't available any more and Sweet Cindy is harder and harder to find. I've got an expectant father's eye on the Solo cups just waiting for the bulge of dirt that says theres action below. The anticipation of waiting for seeds is almost as bad as waiting for your harvest to finally be ripe....arghh. I still love it though.

Yup I'm terrible at all of this, my plant looks terrible & I still love every part/minute of it. I've been listening to every pot cast, growcast, breedercast & homegrown podcast in existence. Every day, for 3-4hrs a day since April (7 months!). I've never shown that level of dedication to anything before haha

BTW, Doug Dawson & others are remaking/preserving Sour Bubble seeds right now, so no worries brother!

I'll send you some of my C99 x Sweet Tooth#4 if the seeds come out nice! I did see Sweet Cindy over at Seedsherenow a week or so ago, it was the only BOG strain in stock. I'm stoked to grow out the Swami Nigerian Sunshine next time around because I love Nigerian strains but also because it's crossed with Blue Moon Rocks! That was a great BOG strain too, Doug is also pulling together BMR seeds for a repro.

Oh, I followed Doug's thread with awe. It was so cool to see those seeds getting made and how he gifted them out to spread and save the genetics. It's what inspired me to dig these out of the freezer and give them a shot. The Sweet Cindy I didn't remember as well but Rurumo's description of the Sweet Tooth strain as well as the Cindy 99 thread convinced me to give them a try. If I get any males I'm planning on trying my hand at chucking some pollen and pollinating a couple branches to try and make some seeds. If not I'm going to try to make feminized seeds with STS. I see it going all kinds of sideways as it's my first try but it's the next thing I need to get experience with if I want to keep some of my genetics around without mother plants everywhere. It should be a fun grow for sure. Just have to get these girls through the next couple weeks and get through trimming.

Hang in there Duke, each grow you will get better and better. The guys like you who do a ton of research and are passionate about it end up growing the best herb.

The reason I'm growing these two BOG strains is because I already grew out all the Blue Moon Rocks I bought back then. It was one of, if not the first seed orders I made with Paul at DC Seed Exchange about 5 years ago after buying from the Single Seed Center and AMS in Amsterdam and sweating customs. He hooked me up with a breeder named GuamMaineian Gardens and I got some Steve Lemme OG x Triangle Kush seeds for free to get started in a new tent. They're a sister I guess to the Steve Lemme OG x White Cherry Truffle cross I'm running now. There's a lot of history with these seeds so I really hope they germ.
@Rurumo , what is the numbering system for Sweet Tooth? Is it just a way of numbering phenotype or is it like the Northern Lights numbering system? Thanks.

I'm not 100% on the exact crosses Breeder Steve made for each version, but I know they weren't just additional bx's back to the SPG clone. Sweet tooth #1 was quite different than #3 and #4 since it had the most blueberry influence. I think #4 used parents from #2 and #3, but don't quote me on that. Supposedly, some nice quality of life and potency improvements came in #4, like less autoflower tendency when rootbound and more mold resistance. I'll try to find a write-up that explains the various crosses made. I've had grapefruity C99 phenos before, so I think the potential exists for a super grapefruity "Sweet Cindy" pheno.

Awesome, I knew you'd have the scoop! Thanks for letting me know but now I want them all. :bigjoint:

Consider doing your first table of them a seed run. You'll never have to buy another pack of them.

I would but since we can only do 4 plants at a time and I gift out a lot of my extra to friends and family I have to get a decent amount of medicine from each grow. I'm hoping that if I do a couple branches on one or two plants I'll get a couple dozen good seeds which would last me a good while. I have to be honest, I'm really excited about finding some old time indica smells and effects and want the flower badly for tincture. I'll take clones for sure and do more seeds down the road if the first attempt doesn't make me crazy.

I'm halfway through week 11 and the girls are in ripening mode it seems. They're getting heavy and I'm tying up branches daily now as they droop over. Hopefully I'll be harvesting the OG Kush in the next two weeks at most and then the other two soon after. It's been a long run but there's some good medicine under those yellow leaves lol. Here's some pics of their progress and hope you're garden's are doing great!IMG_20221022_165633407_HDR~3.jpgIMG_20221022_160256770~2.jpgIMG_20221022_160226990~2.jpgCM221022-202300001~2.jpgCM221021-174450003~2.jpgIMG_20221020_144849256_HDR.jpg

Like it says in the title, I've been lucky enough to receive a light to test from one of our site advertisers, Cultiuanna. Thank you @Cultiuana . I have the CT-660 model I'll be testing for them during this grow which draws 660 watts advertised from the wall and is available for review and purchase at https://cultiuana.com/collections/full-spectrum-led-grow-lights/products/full-spectrum-led-grow-lights-660-watt-4-by-4-full-cycle.
I just installed the light yesterday in my 4x4 tent and have 4 plants in veg that I hope to be flipping to 12/12 in a week or two at most as size is becoming an issue. I'm running 3 Steve Lemme OG x White Cherry Truffle crosses from GuamMaineian Gardens and a pre 98 bubba kush from Dookie Farms that's clone only. I just finished transplanting the last plant and super cropped the bubba kush heavily as it was a good bit taller than the other three.
I'm finishing up on editing some videos and hopefully I'll have those figured out by tonight or tomorrow. For now here's a couple shots of the Cultiuanna in the tent at 40% on the dimmer. It draws 262 watts from the wall at 40% and a whopping 700 at 100%. The 700 watts was 6% over the claimed 660 but within the usual 5% range I've seen with my other lights accounting for my not so accurate Amazon meter. I don't have a temp gun to check exact temps but it's cool to where you can rest your bare hand on any part of the top of the fixture and driver's at 40%.
Plants will be in Roots Organic soil and I added in 2 tbls per gallon of the 4-4-4 Dr Earth dry amendments before transplanting them. They were getting GH 3 part nutes in the 2 gallon pots as I never have good luck with organics in small pots. I'll be using Dr Earth flower girl dry amendment fertilizer for the bloom cycle and add Epson salt for extra Magnesium to the well water they get.
I'm hoping that the better spread of these lights will give me a more even light distribution across the canopy and reach the sides of the tent better.
Its going to take some getting used to so let's hope this doesn't become First Cav's crispy plant show .
All advice, comments and questions are welcome. I keep things really simple in my grow as I'm cheap, and try to do this for as close to free as possible. I don't stress about perfect leaves and bent branches. I'm disabled and I get rough with stuff, sometimes on purpose, sometimes it's just life happening. Somehow it usually ends up with some pretty decent medicine for me and the wife, which is why I do it. Hope you guys tag along and enjoy the journey.

These are regular photoperiod seeds from a coffee shop in Amsterdam for the OG Kush and from a breeder named GuamMaineian Gardens for the Steve Lemme OG plants. They vegged for almost 60 days before flip. They got pretty scorched on the tops before I figured out just how bright this Cultiuanna light can get.
Thanks for the really kind words. There's so many great growers here that have helped me get to a stable garden. I still have a long way to go. Just focus on the basics and keeping them healthy with good airflow and temps and humidity in the right ranges and you'll do great.

Bleaching aside there's plenty nice sized buds to leave no doubt that the light is up to the job.
No doubt about it, it has really good spread across the canopy and did a great job as far as running cool in my tent. With an even canopy and better control of the par values than I had this run it would really deliver a great crop. I'm lucky that my plants have done as well as they have with the light stress I put them through in early flower. I'm getting nanners here and there on the big Steve Lemme tops but it's week 13 almost and if that's as bad as it gets I'll call this a win lol.
