Got my seeds in from Authentic Genetics today. Fast shipping from the West coast and I loved the shipping method. Reminded me of the old stealth options from the Amsterdam seed companies back when I first started buying seeds. I just wish we could have more than 4 plants because I want to start these so badly now. Into storage they go and I'll plan on how to get the humidity low enough to run them for now.

All three plants got top dressed with 2 tbls per gallon of a 50/50 mix of veg and flower girl from Dr. Earth. After this it will be just Flower Girl and no more veg nutes. The Lemme OG plants are eating up the 65-70K lux the Cultiuanna is putting out, but bubba is showing some bleaching on the tops that let me know it wants less light. I gotta go with the majority though and bubba will just have to get a little toasty on the tops. The pistils still look good and the leaves aren't tacoing so I think I'll be fine. If it gets worse I have a few inches to play with to raise the light. Hope everyone had a great weekend and your plants are doing well.

Day 28 from flip yesterday and I'd call it 21 days from the start of flower. The girls are set finally height wise and are going along pretty well. The smaller one is much quicker with trichome development and the bigger Lemme OG is all about putting on size. Bubba Kush looks good, even though her tops are bleached from the high ppfd I've been running. The bud tops still look great and no crispy pistils so I'm hoping it will be right on the edge of what it will take light wise. I'm reading 55-65K lux now that I raised the light 2" and that's about as much as I think they'll take.
This light is a beast, 18" is about as close as I think it can be hung at 100% and that's pushing it. 20"-22" for some strains is probably more than enough. I like that I'm not having to fight heat problems too. Even with all 700 watts cranked up the tent stays around 82-84 degrees which is right where I want it.
Hope everyone is having a great week and your plants are getting huge.

I've been very weary of bringing the light closer. I've kept it hung all the way up, but have a feeling I'll be lowering it. If I go to 18" I may keep it at 80% til week 3-5 & then crank it. I'll keep it low as long as I'm not seeing too much stress & see how things pan out.
You're plants look very healthy & happy! :leaf::weed: I've already got some tip burn toward the end of veg, however I believe it's a product of my low humidity. This is what keeps my AC running. At 80% I'm running extraction at about 60%, and temps at 77-79F / RH 40-45%.
In flower I will be feeding less & more often. Hopefully that helps me keep her happy.

Thanks, I get some tip burn too depending on how bad I let them dry out. I've been pretty good so far this cycle so it isn't bad on these plants. I only had 2" more space to work with so I really cut it close letting them get so tall. I'll put a mark on the tent poles to show me 20" down from where I am now and then I'll have my max veg height with a few inches of wiggle room. The bubba kush is way more light and nute sensitive than the Steve Lemme OG plants which makes it hard to get the balance right. It will be worth it if I can get the bubba kush to produce some decent flower. I love the batch from last run and that was terrible quality from being burnt. Your scrog setup is killer, it just doesn't work with my back and watering. I really like the uniform canopy and spread you get though. I try to get close with super cropping but I don't stress about them being perfect.

I was just looking in at mine today wondering should I tuck it all again. I still have some under growth that needs removal, but I don't want to touch it until I decide to either leave it as is, and slide the net down for support later, or tuck & remove the second layer all together.
As it sits now with the light hanging at it's highest (With extraction inside the tent) 28' from the tallest top. There is another level of bud sites at 34", so I think I'm going to tuck more to even it out more.

The plants are putting on a little weight and bubba kush needs to be tied up for support. It has some pretty weak branch structure and will be roped up pretty heavily as I get closer to peak bloom. The Lemme OG plants are showing the difference in phenotype even more as flower goes on with one putting on much more size and one having much better trichome coverage. I took clones of each so I can decide if I want to run either or both again. I kept a clone of bubba kush and one of motorbreath 15 too. Four plants are all we can have so I'm maxing out my buddies plant count with my babies right now. Here's some pics from today. Hope you are all having a great weekend and your garden is blooming.IMG_20220911_174420025_HDR~2.jpgIMG_20220911_151940913_HDR~2.jpg

Day 35 from flip and day 28 of what I'd call flower and they are marching on with little fuss, just how I like it. I tied up a few colas up on bubba kush as it was starting to spread out from the buds starting to put on some weight. The Steve Lemme OG plants don't seem to need any support yet with much thicker branches that I'm really liking. Here's a few shots of the mess and hope your leaves are praying.

They are coming in hot with that trichome production :weed:
I am contemplating using the Dr. Earth dry ferts inside next run.
You can't beat the simplicity of it. I just top dressed on Friday with Flower Girl and I'm done with nutes for the next two weeks. I just have to worry about watering and inspecting for hermi flowers and pests. The only thing that could make it better for me would be automated watering or learning how to do SIP's. Hand watering with the turkey baster takes a really long time.
I think they are liking the earth worm castings that I added this time. Even the one I just tossed outside to make room in the tent is doing well. It gets hardly any attention and is looking pretty good for a plant that barely gets 4-6 hours of sun.

Lenin1917 was telling me you could go Dr. Earth 4-6-3 from start to finish, no need for flower girl, you ever tried that?

No, I've given it at week 3 when I had a long flowering strain and then done a 50/50 of that and Flower Girl at week 5. I usually do 50/50 at week 3 then Flower Girl from there on out. This is the first grow I'm trying the veg formula and not just the 4-4-4 though too so it's been a little different from the norm for me. It would be cool to see a side by side clone grow doing it that way. Maybe if nobody else gets around to it I'll try it out with a couple of clones.

Today starts week 6 of actual flower and week 7 from flip. The girls are looking good with just a little light stress signs showing here and there. I finally decided to cut the light down to 80% and lower it closer to the canopy as I'm getting 1250 ppfd at the tops in places and they have had enough of it. This combination averages about 850-950 across most of the canopy which is really even and pretty close to where I want it.
If I could make a suggestion to @Cultiuana it would be to make the dimmer switch to where you can adjust it infinitely not just at preset stages. I'd love to be able to bump it up 10% but 20 is just a little too much.
Hope this week sees some swelling and continues on track. I figure another 4 weeks on bubba kush as it doesn't like to go long and a couple weeks more maybe for the Lemme OG plants. We'll just have to see how they do. Hope everybody's gardens are doing great!

What did you get? I just finished Northern Lights #2 and Northern Lights #5 and I have Skunk #1 on the table. I am running all three as seed tables so I'll have plenty to sort through if I like them.

Now the way I got here is I saw those gorgeous bar light plants post where you mentioned your journal (https://rollitup.org/t/maple-leaf-and-hell-fire.1080504/#post-17101730). So please add a link to your journal in your sig because I'd like to visit occasionally and there's no way in hell I'll find my way back without having a link in your sig to light my way. Thank you :eyesmoke:

I got the Purest Indica, I've been waiting for them to come out forever it felt like. I want to get the Hawaiian lights and NL2 as well but the seed budget is blown for now. I hope to pop a couple and run them next with one of these Steve Lemme OG plants that's really frosty I took a clone of. As long as the smoke comes out as well as I hope it does. I might have a motorbreath 15 clone in that run as well in case I get any males. I'd love to hit my motorbreath 15 clone with some Purest Indica pollen. The Steve Lemme OG plants as well.
How did the NL2 and 5 do for you? Do you have any pics of them? Skunk sounds good for breeding but if I'm going to grow it for just the smoke I like it really funky and not sweet. Impossible to find these days it seems.

NL2 and NL5 were nice. That's Skunk #1 just getting flipped as I finish chopping NL #5 on the right. NL #2 is sitting in pans getting dried to dust level for seed sieving (in the drying closet not visible). As is the #2 which has been transferred to the sieve.

They look great! I forget how much difference between #2 and 5 there is. That's a tall girl, I'll stick with my shorty Purest Indica. I love the short stocky indica bushes, I'm just worried about PM with all the droopy leaves I've been seeing in pics of her.

I use this for PM:

It saved a table of genetics I needed.

I'll have to look into it. I have luckily not had any bud rot or PM in my indoor grow ever. I'm obsessive with airflow and I try really hard to control the environment. The only reason this strain has me concerned is that Todd McCormick has mentioned mold a couple times and how low humidity is important with it. It just has my radar on high alert. I normally spray in veg with a 3 in 1 for bugs and mold but stop in flower and just get really careful about sanitary conditions in the grow. I've been really lucky the last couple years and haven't had anything indoors.
