Getting down to the nitty gritty as we approach week 14. I will chop colas starting tomorrow morning and hopefully will have them done in a few days. It's been a rough ride learning how to best use this much power but I've gotten a good grip on it now I think and will be excited to run the Cultiuanna again now that I appreciate how much light it can produce. I'm happy with the spectrum as well. I worried I might lose bud density by switching from the COB light I had previously but these are nice and tight. There is a little less canopy penetration but it's made up for by the much more even light spread I'm figuring.
I really want to thank @Cultiuana for giving me this chance to run their light.
I am going to be running a new tent and light for my next grow as I won a great contest on RIU and need to do a journal for that manufacturer to show my thanks. I then plan on running this Cultiuanna light again now that I'm better prepared for it's high ppfd numbers and seeing how much better I can do. I'll post pics tomorrow of them right before chop. For now there's babies that need attention. Hope everyone is having a great start to the week and you're plants are doing well.

I just got done with some of the main cola's from both Steve Lemme OG x White Cherry Truffle plants. I still have a ton to do at my rate lol. The buds are terrific, nice dense nugs and really frosty. The trichomes are sort of greasy which made trimming fun.
I absolutely LOVE my Chikimasa scissors, they are so sharp and stayed clean for the whole trim job of a couple hours. The curved tip makes it easier to get the leaves deep in the buds.
I only took a quick picture while trimming but I'll post better bud shots tomorrow when I'm trimming during the day. Today was day 91 of flower and the start of week 14...yikes. I'm glad to be harvesting.IMG_20221109_232412505~2.jpg

I got the big Steve Lemme OG about 75% of the way chopped and the frosty pheno done but I pushed it a little too hard and hurt my back pretty bad on Sat. I just left the hospital and I'm waiting for a neurosurgeon consult hopefully soon to figure out if I have options other than surgery. I'm not sure if I'll get any more trimming done or if the rest of the OG Kush will just be compost. At least I was able to harvest enough for meds for the next few months.
Here's some pics of the girls and thanks for following along. I'll post some pictures of the trimmed flowers in a week or so once they're dry.
Thanks again to @Cultiuana for the chance to try out their great light. I'll post some final thoughts on how I liked it and a pic dump soon. CM221112-163321003.jpg

Sorry for the lack of updates to the journal, I've been dealing with a new back problem and I'm pretty much on bed rest until I get to meet the neurologist. I'm going to try and trim and jar up the dried buds I have hanging. The sample bud from the first og kush is really nice as is the Steve Lemme OG . The Lemme has a really nice high that's very happy with a nice body buzz. I'll post up the finished pics as soon as I can. Hope you're enjoying the great weekend.

They look awesome. Hopefully you are going to recover soon & be back to normal.
It’s been a pleasure to watch along & share the Cultiuana experience.
I’ve given my plant the clip after day 91. She’s been pushed & pushed, but we finally made it. Was afraid she wouldn’t make it to her peak.
Rest well, and hit us with a smoke report once you’re ready. :eyesmoke: bongsmilie :peace:

Hey buddy, i hope you're all well soon back pain and growing are terrible partners, you've probably been lifting too many of they big buds.
Take it easy bud ;-)
Thanks, it looks like nerve damage from my injury in the service so at least the Veterans Affairs folks will pay the bill. I'm chilling in the emergency room at UVA. I'm just upset it came before I could get my new 5x5 tent up and start the new run. The babies I have are looking rough so I might just take fresh clones and veg them over. Congratulations on finishing up the first run with the Cultiuanna. I'm making tincture this weekend so I'll know how it does for my meds. The tester buds really had a nice mellow buzz so I'm hoping they are nice.

Have not talk to you in a while, as a matter of fact just ordered some seeds from that web site you recommend dc seed exchange. Black Friday deal for 2 kinds of Mephisto seeds that were on sale. Only dropped $76.00 for I think about 12 seeds 6 of each. Now need a good soil recipe that is organic and only uses dry fertilizer to amend till the end no liquid synthetic shit don’t want no problems and want to keep it simple. Rate now I got some FFOF, FFHF, Dr earths 2-2-2, some coco, perlite, great white and root toner. Thinking about using some flower girl and some other dr earth dry fertilizer.

only want to recharge by top dressing this time and no get the itch to go to synthetic to fatten up buds.

I just picked up a couple bags of Roots Organic soil to use for my next run after we left the hospital. I love it but FFOF is good stuff as well. I use Flower Girl and the veg formula from Dr Earth with 2 tbls per gallon of soil every two weeks. It's really nice and cheap

Thanks man will give it a try. Starting to really have fun with this. Got the cannabis grow encyclopedia from Amazon really good reading material and have tried to experiment a little also got a much broader understanding of a lot of thing based on that book and a greater understanding of the whole process. You should check it out.

Sorry to hear about that. When I was an EM, I spent some time with an AVIM unit at Ft. Bragg and, yeh, shit does happen dealing with aircraft.

It's good that you're getting things taken care of and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Just think of it as "crew rest". ;-)

I managed to get 8 more jars trimmed up from the frosty Steve Lemme OG pheno. There's a lot of the larger Steve Lemme OG left to trim but I'm struggling to get through it for now. Should be roughly 12 ounces trimmed up and jarred with a good bit left on the plants.
My son's coming down to help out for a couple days so I hope I can get the new 5x5 tent setup. Everything has been going to hell the last two weeks, but if I can get that up I should be able to save some of the babies for the next run. Thanks so much for all the well wishes, this place is great. It looks like I'm heading to surgery for my back as the C scan showed a ruptured disc and some really bad spinal stenosis. I'm trying 6 weeks of physical therapy just to see if I can avoid getting cut on but having seen the x-ray and c scan I feel pretty sure it's going to take an operation to get it right. Thank God for my cannabis crop, it helps with the minor aches and pains and takes the edge off the severe pain.IMG_20221129_164221595.jpg
