First time grower. Harvest time opinions

Let it ride ... not even close , still needs weight and maturity. 2 weeks easy.
You can’t really “ over harvest “ ( letting it go until it finishes / ripens ) by counting time or weeks ..... but you can take a plant TOO EARLY .

My 2¢ ..... run them as usual at least another 2 weeks THEN DROP LIGHT CYCLE TO 10/14 ..... it’s a way to trick the plant into thinking winter is hot on its ass. Plant readies itself to finish.
I’ve just been letting it do it’s thing. Just the typical gazing at it lol. I have noticed the top cola is getting much fatter everyday. A buddy keeps asking when it’s going to change colors lol

That’s only the top cola lol. It’s still got a lot more below. Here’s 2 nugs I’ve watched since day 1. They just keep exploding in size
I know that was just the main top lol but I was referring to your earlier pic of the whole thing.
I think you'll find the main top will weigh about the same as everything else on the plant..

Also get ready for the shrinkage.. Major shrinkage.. We're talking full rager to ice bath shrinkage here..

You'll cut her down imagining how well she's gonna fill out that big jar you got ready and waiting for the cure, you'll hang her up, come back a few days later, go to put her in the jar, and wonder why you can fit the whole plant in the small jar you thought the popcorn buds were gonna go in and you don't even need the big jar that was gonna be just for the tops..

Lol ya I know it’s gonna shrink. I wasn’t expecting a massive harvest from a no training plant. Like they always say practice makes perfect. I’ll eventually get better. Another fear I’ve noticed I’ve got is doing some training methods and being afraid of “damaging” plant to where it doesn’t survive. But like a friend told me it’s all in my head and think positive lol

Here's supercropping.
Yes. I'm adding to other technic to my super cropping. If you look at my stock its very over size i'v spreaded it justva lite you can't see the center growing up on the picture in a few days going to tie it. I've used phloeming techniv first. Then i've used chiropractice now i'm about to speard it wide. Then i'll have a nice mat. But look at the size branche to main stem ratio on last photo. Its only a 7 weeks from seed

What exactly is FIM?
Fuck i miss... Tech. You pinch part of the top to force lower growth. The top heal it self and top keeps growing. I prefere phloeming since you only pop the cambium of the plant and stop the flow of sugatand water running in the pholeme and xyleme canal

I’m just goin of what he claimed he did. I’m not touching it. Just water lol
Super cropping is a vague word that uses multiple technique.. Most commun is elbowing. People break the branch sude ways. I hate this it looks like shit. The the is low stress training 'its good but then you have week stock.. After this you have knuckling like have been doing for years. Which boost lateral growth and thickening. They are all fun technic and can be useful to get you plant to have a bud growing exactly where you want it . Mainling is growing a string with bud sites on it.

I asked him what exactly he did and he said he was told to lollipop it and cut the top cola off to have it split in 2 and create 2 top colas. I don’t understand the lollipop part of what he did. I feel like my plant that wasn’t trained any looks better lol

Hahahahhaa okay i'll explain what he did. But he fuck is plant up.. Bassicly. Lolliloping is like pruning but you wait a week before it need to go in flowering. And you take you branche and remove all the shoot that are not going to be ready on time and you stripe it down but you have to leav a significant amout of leaves to suckin energie and shout it to the bud. Now he's going to have to let the top grow at least 1feet of leave and everything that wants to branche up. And leave the fan leaves for energie. Now on his plant everything he remove is regrowing and branching.. He's going to have to let it veg minimum 2 week and remove all the leave below.. He should have top more the once. His plant would be half the height and twice the thickness. Then a week to 3 days before flowering you strip it to have 2-4 inch tip filed with leaves. And un flowering it will double or triple in height. You can then focus on removing sucker and unwanted bud sites the first 2 weeks and you'll get one bud on each branch. The more leaves you have to boost that budding flower the bigger the bud will be.

I know I’m probably gonna trash out a few plants trying to get training methods figured out lol

I’ve got a gorilla glue plant that I’m gonna post a pic of. I would like some opinions on training methods for its current size
