First Grow And Box Design

took a few pictures of the buds thinkin maybe i could see the trichromes if i zoomed in. i can't tell the color. if anyone see's any amber color in there let me know. can i change to straight water yet in the hydro or wait another week.?????? i also added two 2700k 13 watt cfl's to the ak47's. one for each plant (to go along with the 96watt 6700k). i already had them and thought it would help a little. my timing was a little bit off on the sativa. i thought for sure it would be done by now and i could use the hps for em but was wrong and my ak's are startin to grow faster. i started training the one in the hydro because its starting to throw out pistols left and right and gettin taller quick. the only other option would be to put the ak's under 12/12 with the sativa. Here is a question for someone...... does an auto flower need red spectrum lighting????

Damn, shes looking good. In the first picture it looks like shes showing a few amber trichs, but not too many. In some sativas, the trichs dont color up too much i think, though. Id giver another week of flushing and start to chop. But, yes color spectrum matters in autos, different colors are better for different growth, because different growth has different ratios of chlorophyl types, and uses light differently. But, imo, a week sounds really good.

ok. we shall flush this week then with straight water. right??? and see how she looks next weekend. as soon as i get that sativa chopped down, i am putting the 150 hps, 96 watt coralife, and the ufo on the two ak's. i want to see how they react with all that light.

Here are the two auto's. The hydro plant is kickin ass. i changed the water on it just a few minutes ago. I am still Goin by the GH Expert Recirculating Program. i was questioning weather or not to use the "Mild Growth stage" Last week and then decided on using it. Turned out great. not one single burnt leaf. i am impressed. This week i have noticed a much faster paced growth so i am going to go ahead and go with the "Growth" stage this week. its 2.5tsp/gallon grow, 1.5tsp/gallon micro, and .5 tsp/gallon flora. Growing these plants are alot easier the second go around.

If you are just running the Grow/micro/bloom, why are you going by the expert chart? The reason they cut down the main three is because they have a few other products that fill in the gaps. Might be better to go by the simple schedule. Just my 2 cents

if you look at the three parts on both charts it calls for the exact same thing. so its no different. it just sounds better saying the "Expert chart" VS "Simple Chart". lol

How did you edit that post without it saying you did? I remember it previously saying something about answereing questions when you were less drunk lol!

Well those levels change as you get to different levels, but I guess if you aren't using the suppliments you are running a "custom" feeding schedule right?

yeah i was pretty hammered last night when i got home and couldn't really think of an answer to lucky's question. so when i got up this mornin and saw how bad i had misspelled everything i wrote , i just deleted it and gave a real answer.

not sure how to answer that so here is what i am goin off of. its just a printed version of the link you gave me. i got it from the hydro store. also he gave me this flushing stuff to give my plant. i told him i was goin to just put straight water in it and he told me to add that with it. i will post of pic of that to. i already put some in the water and it acts like soap the way it foams up. i can tell this is goin to be a mess when it starts bubbling over. i am just goin to let it sit in there for about 2 hours and then put regualr water back in. that stuff is tryin to bubble over due to the soap stones. however the back of the bottle does say to let it run in the system for about an hour so maybe thats what im suppose to do anyways.....?? i hope im not startin this too early and its goin to be done in two weeks. either way it goes im choppin it down. i gotta make room for the ak's.

i ended up running to the grocery store and bought 8 gallons of distilled water to refill the tub with. it looked like my plant was takin a bubble bath. so i emptied out the tub and put the distilled water in it. the only reason i bought the water is because i didn't have any that had been sitting out overnight.

I bought a electric distiller just for that reason. makes one gallon in 4 hours and turns itself off got mine off of ebay. for larger jobs i use my ro/di filter i have. not everyone wants to make their own water but thought i would mention it.

i was gazing at my womans neckedness when i stumbled upon what i think to be a PENIS!!!!!!!!! i tooks some pics to show. maybe its just a really big flower..... i doubt it.

Looks like a calyx to me, but it is random and large for the flower it is on. Plus I don't see any hairs sticking out. Keep an eye on it and if it is a male flower pluck it off. You may be able to save the buds from being seeded if you are diligent about trimming off the male flowers before they open.

I've seen the random calyx growing out of a node like that before too so it may be nothing. Just keep a watchful eye on her.

That was alot of reading. i am choppin her down real soon. i dried some out over a 3 day period and got pretty high. Nothin special but it will suit me. The Ak's are Doin Awesome. i will post some pics of those tomorrow.
