This has just gotta grind on some of you dope smoking atheists

Congress members call themselves [91.8%] Christian

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2015/01/05/how-many-christians-jews-and-muslims-will-be-part-of-the-new-congress-heres-the-complete-religious-breakdown/

The chart says that we are yes, in fact, as a country, run by a bunch of men, who call themselves: Christians

Interesting, so, since congress seems to be also a bunch of liars running it, you could further make the case that since congress is overall Christian, and since most once they get to congress lie, mislead, the general populace of the USA, I could say: Most Christians are Liars, and not truth tellers, which is anti Christ like? Go figure

Most voters are christian too. Look at how much has been over which religion Obama is.

I doubt the figure is as high as they claim, it's just most of those people who aren't wouldn't stand a chance to get elected. We have a loooooooooong way to go.

Religion is people's way of dealing with and explaining bad shit. "God wanted your child by his side, you'll see him in the after life". I would want to punch someone for saying that, but for some it's the help they need to deal. I may not agree with it, but at the same time, I don't begrudge anyone for believing in something if it helps them deal.

My problems arise when they try to force those beliefs on me by legislation. Gay marriage is a good example.

If getting to congress is what induces them to lie, then its the fact they are politicians that make them lie and not their religious preference.

You could also correlate drinking water with a propensity to lie. 100% of those congress critters drink water at some point, and they all lie, ergo water makes you lie.

Do you see the problem with your theory?

I think that's it for the majority. I doubt an open atheist could get elected to a major office yet. We are getting there, but it's a long way off.

We are only decades away from an Irish-Catholic being a huge deal winning an election.

kinda like when certain businesses tried to deny civil rights under the guise of religion?

http://crdl.usg.edu/export/html/ugafof/americus/crdl_ugafof_americus_pigglywiggly.html?Welcome

but you have no problem with that, nor when businesses use the guise of religion to deny contraceptives to women (cntraceptives that they make money off of on the side, no less).

you are a transparent two face.

it really doesn't matter where you call ginwilly a transparent two face, as long as you include the solid, substantive reasoning behind why.

i mean, i could have cited where he said that he has no problems with a piece of legislation that would allow EMTs to watch gays die as proof as well, but he would have just cried even more and had a fucking meltdown.

hell, why not?

I don't believe I have the right to FORCE an EMT to give me medical treatment anyway...if they have a legitimate reason (to them) for not giving me treatment I don't think there is much I can say.
I'm against forcing people to do things against their will.
so let's review.

ginwilly says he has a problem when religious types force beliefs on people via legislation.

ginwilly says he has no problem when religious types let EMTs watch gay people die via legislation.

is anyone buying this transparent two-faced bullshit anymore?

You seem to have a problem with comprehension, but that's to be expected anymore when you are concerned.

Got a link to EMTs letting gays die? I can't believe that question even had to be asked, that's how bad you have it.

Is your daily drunken meltdown starting early?

But a baker didn't want to bake a cake for a gay couple!! The world is ending? They would have to make another phonecall and order around the corner!! This is a travesty!!

I picture spittle flying from you while typing. You seem deranged.

i literally quoted you twice.

are you retarded?
So I'm an EMT letting gays die now?

Has it ever happened that you can site? I mean other than you accusing me of wanting it, can you think of anyone besides me who you consider an EMT gay killer?

You've got 1 baker that refused to bake a fancy cake and 1 wedding chapel that refused a gay service and me going around in my ambulance letting gays die. Would you say civilization is regressing?

why do you claim in this thread that you are against religious types legislating their beliefs onto others, when in another thread you seemed perfectly OK with that exact same concept?

don't have a meltdown, just try to explain the abundant hypocrisy.

You mean that because a piece of legislation that won't pass and even if it did would not have the affect you predict doesn't really matter to me?

Do you believe EMTs (other than me of course) will now go around saying "I'm sorry sir, but that looks like a blouse you are wearing, I can't help you".

Your hate is illogical.

Well legally if the legislation passed you could.
And you have voiced support for that legislation
