CFL + LED?

Hey guys, my first grow has been going good so far, 2 blue hogs breath under "600watt 120* 5w LED Mars Hydro". however i remembered i had two 26w CFLs as part of a Areo Garden thingy, so i strapped them to the inside of my closet door lol. is this too much light? are they too close? will the imbalance or direction of light effect their growth? they're 3-4 weeks into veg. any input is appreciated! thank you!

Cfls and leds can be a good combo.

But if i was you i would be putting the plant closer to the cfls.

However nice plants :blsmoke:

P.s i see duct tape is your best friend

Thats the closest i can get them to the CFLs while keeping them completely under the LED.

and thank you! its my first time so im just trying to get as much research as i can

If those CFLs are too far away (I would say 9" or so) then you are prob just wasting electricity, they won't add much to your grow.

Welcome Traplife.
Nice plants. I usually veg for 2 months. Going for three or longer on this grow. You can keep them in veg for as long as you want. Veg builds the structure for budding. The minimum time is 1 month. I think. Going longer is better.

I had about 200 watts of cfl side light with my 400w marsII in one tent, and about the same cfl in the other with 2 135w ufo's. seemed to work well. i try to keep them as close to the lights as I can, gives me something to futz and tinker with as I inspect the plants.

More lights are almost always a better thing although, if temps in your tent aren't too hot i'd move those LED's and CFL's closer. They can be right on em as long as temps aren't screaming

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Looking good. Here is a combo led, CFL, t5, and t8 grow . I just throw the kitchen sink at it. Everything I have accumulated the last few years. Seems to be working. Today is week 4 12/12.

I think 9 inches should do it? Maybe even a little closer. I think those are suppose to cover 1.5x2 square feet in flower, so 2 plants will be pushing it. Any supplemental light you can give will help
