Update : Cafe Racer

Haven’t shown her lately but she is stacking up and smelling dank. She is been LST trained only . Medium is my usual layered mix i do for soil. Plants really seem to like it and am not gonna change anything.

For a 2 gallon container, she has good size and structure .

She is under the HLG BLACKBIRD led.

She is really throwing out the stank lately- a pungent / garlic like odor. Real heavy nose assault.

:mrgreen: Not like pee.

Figured i would pull her out to look her over .
I do have some minor gnat issues with her . Maybe i should have used pee on this one cuz my pee plant has zero bugs and literally is in same tent.

Used Capt. Jacks DeadBug Brew and it has knocked them down quickly - i apply every 2 days . Mostly to this lone plant - other plants are coco so no issues there.

Anyways - looking at flowers - it looks like she will be ready in the near future before my other flowering plants. The buds look like hand grenades LOL.
But some of the mid area / lowers could definitely go a bit longer. I’m in no hurry.

KKP - King Kong Poison

This one is a longer flower girl - ran her before and just let them do their thing. She is still stacking along but throwing some frosty ass rails. Smell is like dank fruit ?

I just added a scoop of Roots Organic Terp Tea Bloom to her and plucked off a couple of blocking leaves.

KKP - KING KONG POISON

This one is under the QB96 rig and kind of shows you what the flowers will build up like . I tend to keep this strain around ( its Durban poison x GG4 ) for obvious reasons :bigjoint:

So i tend to run a few in every grow . this one is ahead of the other one from above . It gets rather chunky later on.

Roots Organic Terp Tea Bloom for this one as well.
Nothing else.

Ok … some of you know that my diehard Volcano Vape took a shit last month …. Well … :bigjoint:

I pulled the trigger on a new one - Onyx Black version.
I kind of had to , i prefer the bags over rolling joints for my after work- after hour sesh. I still “ roll “ but do cones over joints.

Anyways , got this for under $400 ( sale ) at Planet of the Vapes.

Well , I find myself in a situation. Those 2nd gen clones ( cafe racer x 2 motor breath ) has just grew and grew. I was hoping to keep this tent as my only VEG tent open. I trained them and took more cuttings and they are just growing fast.

So …………..

I have no choice but to flip . So , starting today , tent goes to 12/12. I kind of ended up with too many plants. :bigjoint:
I have 2 KKP plants that will have to be “ fringe lighting “ ( just outside of tent ) so that should be interesting.

Funny how that occurs. I find myself in similar circumstances. As usual they look stellar.

I am definitely gonna keep running coco over soil grows for now. I like to keep things very simple. No drippers or setups. I always like the ability to “ pull plants “ ( maintenance / training / etc ) instead of scrog .

They will still be trained and pruned as time goes on.

For 2 gallon buckets - not too shabby . They are even growing better than my hempy buckets.

COCO for the win.

Each rig will be shown with various plants running as perpetuals. I have been a long time user of Horticulture Lighting Group since the beginning.

Each rig and supplemental rigs will be HLG products only. Each grow will highlight both autos and photos .
I will run a SOG style 12/12 , a 18/6 autoflower grow and a photo cycle grow. Strains will vary - Ethos / Dutch Passion / Barney’s/ My crosses.

For this grow will also include hempy buckets and soil.

QB products for these various grows : QB 304’s / QB 96’s / QB 225 / QB 288’s
I wanna give props to HLG for years of great customer service and products ….. looking forward to what you guys dream up next.

First Grow :

QB96 ( 320 watt )
Strain : Ayahuasca Purple ( Barney’s )
2 plants in layered peat mix
Dry fertilizer : Recipe 420 ( 6-8-4 )
Tap Water

SOG style plants are 12/12 from seed and one has began to flower , other hasn’t shown yet ( nail biting :bigjoint: )

Second / Third grow :

Strains : Cherry Soda Twist ( Cherry do si do x BCS Black Cherry soda ) - my cross.
Ethos Endgame R2 ( S1 ) - I selfed last grow of this strain for seeds. ( STS reverse lower branches )

These solo cup grows will be also layered soil mixes. They will be transplanted into 1 gallon bags.

These two cuttings are doing well as the flowering continues. Minor Tip Foxtail but not concerned.

Besides my grinder give zero shits. Anyways they are expressing heavy earthy / spice smells.

Motor Breath ( Clone )
This lady is a clone ( 1 of 2 ) taken from my now flowering mom Motor Breath …. It literally just keeps growing and growing.
( look at pic in post #270 ) - 6 days ago.

Note : That bottom stem would have been another good clone but I have nowhere for any Veg plants.

Part 2 …. These 2 clones were taken at early flower ( motor breath ) and were at a time ( when had room ) to actually Veg .

But ….
They have no Veg area so they will be shitcanned. You can see the Re-Veg growth on them.
Uniform and healthy ….. I hate fucking dumping plants . Neighbor that grows is a yard dirt guy so giving him these coco plants isn an option.

QB 96s with Sunblaster T5HO rig

Here are the 3 Hempy KKP plants ( 100% perlite )
I also added The Pee Plant - Yellow Dream . Sliding in another little corner is a SOLO CUP KKP / Purple Punch cross .
That is the one that was supposed to be a seed project but the “ donor Fem “ didn’t throw sacks after CS treatment. So will have to either make fresh CS or grab STS later.

So ironically- I’m running a solo cup grow. :bigjoint:

Lastly there is a Twinsy plant - No topping done - just started as a runt , liked it / kept it and grew it.
