Yea like russia never hacked usa.every stupidthing you do you write somewhere allways
Where do you get your news, amnesia?

from China, perhaps?

Don’t mention the invasion: China spins Russia’s war in Ukraine
Beijing adheres to Moscow’s narrative after weeks blaming the US for ‘hyping’ the threat of conflict

As images of Russian troops storming into Ukraine flashed on screens around the world, several senior Chinese foreign policy experts sent a flurry of text messages to friends and colleagues in the US: “Is this fake news?”

In a briefing with reporters in Beijing hours later, Hua Chunying, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson, repeated Russian defence ministry statements that Ukrainian cities would not be targeted and questioned whether the Russian invasion should be called “an invasion”.

(the article is behind a paywall)

Censorship is sooo 19th century.

China refuses to call Russian attack on Ukraine an ‘invasion,’ deflects blame to U.S.

  • China’s assistant foreign minister, Hua Chunying, was asked by reporters several times whether she would call Russia’s attacks an invasion but she repeatedly avoided giving a yes or no answer.
  • In response to one reporter, Hua appeared to express frustration at the question and said, “The U.S. has been fueling the flame, fanning up the flame, how do they want to put out the fire?”

lulz US is why Putin invaded. :dunce:

A lot of trolls are spinning this. eh, @0potato0 ? Maybe they aren't all part of the Russian troll army. If the troll army attacking RIU is any kind of predictor, next we'll hear about how the US dropped the bomb on Hiroshima, so Putin's use of them is justified.

I doubt that. The fact that Scholz yanked the cert from the pipeline suggests otherwise to me.
Meaning they won’t use a pipeline that wasn’t in use yet. Replace “probably” in ANC‘s post with definitely and you have an undeniable fact. One of the (poor) reasons for Germany to oppose the SWIFT ban is so they can still pay for gas easily. Not just Germany:

In the hours after the invasion of Ukraine, there were calls for Europe to punish Russia by ending energy purchases. But the immediate response of European energy companies was to buy more natural gas, much of it transported through Ukraine’s pipeline network.

For a second day, utilities are ordering more fuel under long-term contracts with Gazprom PJSC because the deals are priced in a way that Russian imports became cheaper than spot gas traded at European hubs.

(no bloomberg, just someone linking to your article…)

Feb 23 (Reuters) - Oil prices steadied on Wednesday, holding below 2014 highs, as U.S. officials indicated escalation between Russia and Ukraine was unlikely to result in sanctions on energy supplies from Russia, one of the world's top oil producers.

The media pushing the whole gas situation is just distracting. It’s not as relevant as some pretend it is. The world will continue to buy oil from Russia as well. Short of nuclear war, the only likely way the energy export will stop flowing is if the supply lines are damaged physically.

It's not sensational enough when the headline says "oil and gas imports are same as before". Cancelling Nord Stream 2 has implications for the future but people are talking as if there were an immediate effect.

Chicken Little and Henny Penny are going to go tell the king.
