Learn something new every day. I hope it's nothing man, it sucks when you lose jars :(

Yeah man :(

But I'm definitely not doing PF tek anymore, it takes so long and it doesn't even come close to bulk tubs.
My WBS jars colonized in less than half the time it took these jars that are just now finishing.

I constructed a mushroom dryer, and posted a tutorial in this section :D

Whew the first time opening the FC of the day, smells so mushroomy and earthy.

Well guys, today marks Day 7 since cased. I think I see some knots forming, and I took a picture of them :p, tell me what you think!

Yeah it's not mandatory but I'm not tryna mess anything up, especially the moisture content. I'll wait a couple days to do it the right way :P

Dude, the spring works FINE, if you worry about moisture in your cooker, flip the lever and wait for 10 minutes or so, you would have to leave the weight off for that long anyway. There is no "right" way with weights. I wish I had a cooker with a spring attachment, I tend to misplace that weight all the time.

I took out my jars for a photo shoot :)
The second picture is them rotated 180 degrees so you can see all angles (mostly)
Picture (3).jpgPicture (1).jpg
The front-right one is in second, with the back right one in first, obviously.
Here is an up-close of the jar in first place.

Day 9
I found out my camera has a macro setting for up-close pictures. I took a few up-close of the new knots that formed. The tray looks WAY different than it did the day before. I'm proud :)

Here is the tray, one with flash, one without.

Then here are a bunch of up-closes of the knots.
