GREEN NINJA'D!

Today marks the end of this log, and may it forever rot in the depths of rollitup.

Was heart breaking to take the FC down like that!
Here are some pics of the last jars I have colonizing.. They must be terrified knowing that their WBS friend died like that.

And finally, here are the cakes that WERE in the process of dunking when I saw the ninja.. They are in the fridge now. Hope they do fine..

Arent you guys able to just find em wild this time of yr in n florida(thats what Ive been told anyway)



And how long from start to finish indoors???(looks Ez to make a few elbos w/like 5x5 space know??)

let me know??might be worth effort for me???

Nope, I did not PC my vermiculite. That is a lesson learned from me.
I just didn't suspect the verm to have mold spores in it like that :p

Mushrooms do not grow wildly where I live. Even if they could, I would much rather eat something that I cultivated myself.
It's a really fun hobby, but it's not easy at all, not really something to "dive" right into.
The reason I do it is because I genuinely enjoy it. Not even just to produce psychedelic mushrooms (:o)

I will give you some links to start, I posted them in another thread.
Here are some thing I suggest that you read.

All in one:
Mycology Unveiled (Has lots of good info in it. I wouldn't follow the guides on it, but seriously, read the information in it! It WILL help you so much!

Glovebox:
Simple glovebox (basically my exact glovebox, except for the fact that I just use rubber gloves, and don't deal with tyvek sleeves)
Shadow box

Fruiting Chamber:
Zombie tubs (Really good mini bulk fruiting chamber, I'm making one for my next grow :smile:)
Large FC

Incubator:
Tub in tub (TiT) (cant find a link to it, but its a water heater in a tub of water, with another tub inside and you use that to incubate your jars, if you have questions about it, just ask :wink:)
Quality Incubator
Quality Incubator 2.0

Liquid culture:
Hippy Piss (I recommend this one, but any of them will work.)
Start to finish LC (uses raw honey)

Substrate preparation:
Wild bird feed (soak method)
Wild bird feed (no soak/no simmer method, the method I use)
Popcorn

Bulk techniques: (Zombie tubs link also semi-explains how to do a bulk)
Rez-effect (my current grow log is using this tek)

Cake techniques: (If you want to go cakes, I suggest you look at this link)
WBS cakes (there is a link at the bottom, that shows a log and compares BRF cakes to WBS cakes)

No simmer tek (Works with all grains, any jar size)
