Check out my journal thread. Plenty of pics and it's exactly what you're trying to do and it works GREAT... my plants could scarcely be happier or healthier. And you CAN use a single 23W 1600 lumen bulb, 1 bulb per plant, for the first 10 days or so just FINE as long as it's properly focused (I used reflective bases hung directly over each plant), and close enough to the plants, but after that you'll want more light. That can either be 42W bulbs or Y adapters with 2 23 W per plant like I did (or both). Ultimately once they're past the seedling phase you want to have at least 5000 lumens per SF of grow space, calculate accordingly.
Like I said, check out my thread for all the details, I did it exactly the way you're looking to do it and the plants I grew in that box are doing fantastic at about 1 month. I haven't really updated my thread for about 5 days, I'm going to try and get to it tonight.

The replies are half right and half wrong. I don't think you realize how much these things grow by the time they start to flower. You CAN keep it alive and reasonably healthy using a single 23W bulb per plant until they flower, but they will absolutely suffer for it. As I said in my previous post, you'll be good to go for 10 days roughly (they should flower around 20 days), but after that you're definitely going to want more light to even come remotely close to maximizing the potential for your plants. The first few weeks of growth are really critical.

I've seen a number of people do it and I did it for a while myself, but it was getting too tasky. Lumens are lumens, as long as the temps and humidity are within normal levels it's fine. Only problems are bringing in pests and other nasties from outdoors, particularly if you're bringing it in to grow alongside of other plants that you're growing 100% indoors.

I think you've given it MORE than enough time if it's an Auto strain. I'd go to 12/12 for sure by this point personally, but it might not flower at all considering it's from Nirvana. Bad luck mate, go with Attitude next time... Hope the switch helps, and remember to keep it 12/12 if it does flower, don't go back to 20/4 or 18/6.

Dude, Auto Mazar??? WHERE? That is my fav strain ever. I am growing a photoperiod Mazar right now and it is pissing me off because I only grow auto's and i had to make a place for her in the grow room to be light free. I thought about crossing her with some EasyRyder males to get an autoflower gene. I DID NOT KNOW there was at auto Mazar!!! Link me!yeah great bro

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it here yet but do NOT order ANY seeds that say they are AF from Nirvana!!!
NIRVANA HAS PULLED ALL OF THEIR AF STRAINS DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS THEY HAVE HAD. MAINLY WITH THE SO CALLED AF STRAINS NOT AUTO FLOWERING LIKE THEY SHOULD. SOME SEED BANKS ARE STILL SELLING THEM BUT DO NOT BUY!!!!!
If you bought AF seeds from Nirvana and they screwed up (had to put light schedule to 12/12 or took WAY too long to flower), contact them and complain. I have heard of people getting tons of free (non AF) seeds that got bad batches of AF seeds.
There is a thread either here or on ICMAG.COM about it, but I know a lot of people still dont know so I figured I would drop the bomb
