Yeah, but read what Nirvana has on there site regarding the strains. I had the first round of Blue Mystics and just harvested one today, I will say that the jock horror has yet to auto and its like 10 weeks. So not happy bout that. If you do have the bunk beans Nirvana will do right.
I am not sure if you are talking to me or not, but since you quoted me I would normally assume that you are talking to me. Fortunately I did not buy my seeds from Nirvana, I bought them from the Attitude like I stated in the first sentence of my post that you quoted. Maybe you could help me with my questions though.

What would be the max temperature these can handle outside? I would like to set them outside on my balcony during the day but it ranges from 70 in the morning to 100 by the afternoon.

go with a LaDiva very nice taste great buzz yeild could be awsome if done right
"Easy and fast growing, with a quite a commercial yield and a mixed high, combining a couchlock and mild munchies effect, she is suitable for anyone who long for new experiences. "

O.k. so what about active ones.. I've grown weed before when I picked up the brush in the back garden which ended up with a whole back garden make over nearly..!

I once grew a AK-48 Auto and turned out like a pile of shite

OOOhhh Yeah Going in Jars tonight!

This is an A+ AutoFlower Experience! Trying to Cure for 2+ weeks is going to be difficult......

We did sample a bit and oh my.. Right to the head.

Ive heard a lot about Autos having less cbn so you get more of a head high. I think this may be true because I let her go almost 10 weeks (Sagarmatha says 8 weeks) and only saw 3 or 4 amber trichs on the whole plant.. And I looked religiously for long amounts of time!

Will Definately go with them again in the future

Man as long as they have plenty of water, its really hard to kill plants outside due to high heat. No matter how high the heat, the abundance of C02 in the outdoor air should keep them thriving. Just dont ever put them out there and forget to water them or you can do irreversible damage, possibly killing them.

Best of luck!

I could not agree more.... My plants do wonderful out in the 98 up to 102 weather all year long and grow some massive colas.

I just have to water them twice as much during that hot stage.

Thanks, SoA. I'm not supercropping, just ScrOG + DWC in a PC case. My impression is that any HST is sort of pointless on autoflowers because they don't have a long enough recovery period before flowering. I could be wrong though. Has anyone tried it?

I did accidentally damage a branch to the point where I had to chop it, and two more are damaged but still doing fine. Hopefully I'll see some growth from the wounded areas soon. I guess this will sort of show the viability (or lack thereof) of some HST.

Strain: Easy Ryder by The Joint Doctor (AK47 x Lowryder #2)
I had to supercrop on of my ezryders, a couple of weeks ago, at day38 or so from seed I think, it was just too tall for its case, its doing just fine, never even seemed to bother it

I have 10 Nirvana Northern Lights Autos that are now 10 weeks old. All showed sex at around week 5-6 but have just grown tall from there. I have no flowers. I've heard these autos have taken longer than expected but 10 weeks and still only a few hairs shooting out between nodes.

I have a few Nirvana Blue Mystic Autos as well and they showed sex around week 3 and are flowering just fine. They are about 6 weeks from seed. Much smaller plants but much closer to what I expected to see with these autos.

Could i just have some normal photoperiod plants?

I have two other non autos that were planted with the NL autos. They were my freebies. The strains are Warlock and Motivation. They are veggin just fine however neither has showed sex They have been on 18/6 for the majority of their lives.

Thanks,
RN

i got 15 autoflower speedy on the way from attitude. can i grow and flower them with only CFL? if so, how many plants per light?

Hi guys. Like I said earilier I am growing a non-auto Mazar, she is just in flowering now. Cant wait to get the auto version!

I am also growing some other things, namely I think my EasyRyder is almost done, she is exactly 2 mos old from sprouting today. What do you think time left for her is? I have taken a few nugs from her already and dried them. Couldnt wait any longer! I will say she nails me to the couch, albeit the smoke is a little rough.

Also, meet my stupid fucking cat. He loves to chew on the plants whenever I dont watch him close enough when I am working in the grow room. Stupid fucker even ate my second ER plant while I was at work one day and I accidently left the grow room door open, she was only a week or so old. He is blind in one eye so I give him a pass and didnt make him an outdoor only cat... yet.

Been growing all with CFL, got some real 125w ones along with an assortment of the 23w kind. Still havent decided the best arrangement, it gives me something to do.

you cant grow 15 under cfls bro 16 under a 600w yes that would work great im doin 16fast bud under a 600w hps
You know what I love about the word can't? Any time it is used, it inspires someone to try anyways. In this case, it most certainly CAN be done, it would just be an awful waste of money. The cheapest way would be to go to Home Depot and buy five 68w (300w Replacement) CFLs to flower them with. They are the size of footballs and use a regular socket. But they are $15 a piece, plus you would have to buy sockets and not to mention that the CFLs would not penetrate nearly as far, giving you less bud per plant. You can go with the higher end CFLs (125 true watts or better) but they require different, more expensive sockets, and for the price you could have bought a nice HID with a reflector and remote ballast.

I did flower 2 Diesel Ryders under a single 68w CFL and got just over 7g dry off each. I think I could have ended up with more but I had to keep them in small 6" pots due to height restrictions, and the light schedule was on 12/12 because I had other strains in the cab that were not AF.

And as far as the 600w goes, it would be ideal but I really think you could do 12-16 AF plants SOG style in small (1gal or less) containers under a 400w, maybe even a 250w and get decent results. I have 8 Diesel Ryders and 3 Apollo11 (non AF) under a single 250w right now and they are all looking gorgeous, none of them stretching for light. Now all mine are in 1gal grow bags, and I am not topping or training in any way, otherwise the canopy would be so large I would need two 250w.

I think most people who prefer CFLs have to worry more about heat and thats why they go with CFLs. Well Im here to tell you, 250w of CFLs get hotter than a 250w remote ballast HPS. Each CFL had a ballast between the bulb and socket which produces heat along with the bulb. Watt for watt, a remote ballasted HID bulb will always be cooler than a CFL. What CFLs are damn handy for is supplemental light, or when you are using no more than 150 actual watts. Anything more than 150 actual watts of CFL in one space, and you could probably increase your yield by 25% or more just by switching to a HID bulb of equal wattage.

There's just nothing I hate more than seeing someone spend gobs of money on a zillion CFLs when one HID would do much better, run cooler, and be easier to maintain. I was scared of HID bulbs for a long time, but once you use one you will always have them in your arsenal. Now for veg I ALWAYS use CFLs or fluorescent tubes because you typically dont need hundreds of watts.

Just putting some food for thought out there. All too often I hear people thinking they have to conform to a certain way of doing something because people say it CANT be done. Well many years ago people would have said fluorescent lights CANT grow quality buds, or AF strains CANT produce high potency buds, and we have proven them wrong so why not keep trying? :)
