If somebody says they "represent you" it cannot be that they also deprive of you of any option not to be erm "represented". The proper term to use there would not be representative, rather the word you intend is....master.
Nearly all nation states / countries are based in involuntary compelled subservience, so it's not likely they won't extort as well.
Are you implying because something isn't common place, that what exists in it's place must be good?

name one person anywhere who is paying taxes for anything which they did not have to agree to in writing first.
when i moved into my house, i had to agree in writing to pay property taxes.
when i started as an independent contractor, i had to agree in writing to pay FICA and income taxes.
when i signed on the dotted line for a cellular phone, i had to agree in writing to pay taxes so that people who need phones but cannot afford them would get them anyway.
please feel free to name all the people who have had to pay taxes without agreeing in writing, in a legally binding contract, to pay those taxes first.

In response to your comment, not quite. Being a "master" implies complete control. Nobody has complete control over someone unless they are incarcerated. You have a choice to NOT be represented by your representatives. You can vote them out of office or you can move, there are other options you have as well, but in the end whatever you decide is YOUR choice.
