Are there any smart Trump supporters?

I'm by no means wealthy, but I make a fair amount. A few years ago, I managed to not only not pay any taxes, but the taxes I had paid for the year were completely refunded to me, along with another $2,000 or so.

I managed to carry over losses from the previous year along with some business purchases that I used as pass through capital expenditures.

Yea, wealthy people can pay 0.

GE not only pays 0, it gets millions back.

Yea, the wealthy "can" pay 0.

You're dumb as shit.
Obviously Red and NLX can't read.

Did you read the article? Because I did. It doesnt say anyone pays no taxes. Sometimes things are deferred, etc but unless you lose money you are paying taxes. And if you do a short sale on an investment property you will pay income taxes on the loss.

I say the wealthy pay taxes and you try to prove they dont by providing a quote showing some dont pay FEDERAL INCOME taxes. Bzzt, wrong.
As @see4 says, you are dumb as shit.

I believe you are the only one I know who doesn't pay taxes.
As @see4 says, you are dumb as shit.

Oh, you mean the POOR don't pay taxes? You claimed the wealthy didn't pay ANY taxes, then claim some blog saying the POOR don't pay FEDERAL INCOME taxes somehow proves your statement? Not a single person's name did you give, as my statement said.

fail red..you need to read the WHOLE article, idiot..I did and it begins with the misconception that poor people are the only ones that don't pay taxes..lets see..it takes $30k to live and breathe so if someone's income is $20k due to LOW WAGES that are stagnant having that person not pay taxes seems a bit justified than someone who makes $1M and pays no taxes through system manipulation.

the article goes on to show you with pictures even that it IS the wealthy that are shirking their social contract with America.

I really dislike when people don't follow through..what other areas of your life do you take the shortcut or easy way out?

Lies and more lies. The article said people who had no profit, gave large donations to charity, or were taxed overseas for income earned overseas avoided US taxes. It didn't mention not even one person making a million in the US not paying ant tax. You read the WHOLE article, then lied about what it said.
I notice you have no problem with welfare cheats like schuylaar cheating the system.
"Social Contract" is a term made up by people who think they should be paid for doing nothing. Show me where anyone signed this "contract".

I dont know what is going on with Schuylarr lately. She has given up actually looking at information and just mindlessly repeats what she thinks she knows. She is still convinced she is right on greater than and less than. I guess you dont have to debate if you just make shit up in your mind. It is certainly easier than logic.

I can't believe this is so hard for you folks to wrap your head around, the question was, "are there any wealthy folks who pay '0' taxes"...proof was provided that directly answered your question. They took advantage and manipulated the system to get to '0' but at the end of the day their tax obligation was a big fat '0'.
If you had asked "are there any wealthy people with a '0' tax obligation" then that's a whole other issue.

Nobody starts out with a '0' tax obligation, nobody! But that wasn't the question. :wall:

I said no wealthy person pays 0 taxes.

You presented an article that only addressed a portion of the taxes a person would pay. ER: Federal Income taxes.

Just because someone does not pay federal income taxes does not mean they do not pay taxes which is the comment that started this debate.

You have yet to show me SOMEONE who is wealthy that does not pay TAXES.

You are playing word games, and doing a poor job of it. Why? Because you're dumb as shit.

As B4L pointed out, nobody starts off with paying a $0 tax obligation. But because of writeoffs, loopholes and hiring expensive tax professionals, wealthy individuals and corporations can end of not paying anything in taxes, and in fact get refunded the tax they paid that year and then some. As I pointed out in my example.

But because you don't know how to comprehend things and you're dumb as shit, you missed all that.

When you use the word "obligation" incorrectly like that it's kinda cute. Please carryon though....this could be entertaining.

i would love to see what your 'obligation free' lifestyle is like..i bet you're a total hypocrite.
I DIDN'T say my life was obligation free. I am asserting we only have but a few externally related obligations.
The biggest one is to not use force to attempt to obligate others without their consent.

How about you, who can make an obligation for you ? You or somebody else ?

I am not a total hypocrite, BUT, Bernie the Bomber....that's another story!

So when a democratic policy is pushed its anti-american extortion..but when a reb policy gets pushed its democracy of the people? Even though the cocksuckers have to shut down the government like children throwing a tantrum to get it?

An old saying i hate comes to mind.

"Love it, or leave it"

P.S. most every Trump supporter here at one point or another has bragged about how rich he is. so it seems everyone agrees that $20K is a pretty piss-poor annual income. Now given that the cut off for free obamacare is $16k-19k how is it that those who qualify are "taking advantage"? Seems a warped perspective of what constitutes an advantage.

I mean...have any of YOU guys grown up eating out of soup kitchens? Cause i have. Welfare is an amazing thing for those who need it.
