To do anything they need to go to court, even to get subpoenas for witnesses, if the DOJ does not cooperate in obstruction of justice. Their public utterances about these matters would come back to haunt them and court fillings over J6 might be like those at Mar-A logo, with the phots of top secret documents, submissions to the court are made under oath etc. The last place some of these congress people want to be is in court. I honestly think Mark Meadows is cooperating and will be a giant ace up Jack's sleeve when he goes to war with the GOP house, they publicly declared war on the DOJ and his people. It will be mix of politics and law, it is about political, legal and constitutional issues and all are linked. Jack will win and they will regret trying to fuck with the investigation. Taking Donald down first will make a lot of them stand up and take notice and give Jack lot's of leverage in the J6 case, Mark helped him steal those documents and facilitated their transfer among other crimes Jack would have him for.

I was talking about the shocking matter of aides finding classified documents in Biden's garage.

The Republican controlled House is the only body with the power to impeach Biden. The courts have nothing to do with it. All they need is a majority vote to impeach. I predict many impeachment hearings to follow. They have a bone to chew due to Democrats exercising their power to impeach Trump. Never mind if it makes any sense.

They might have trouble on that one, their majority is pretty thin and might get thinner. The DOJ will only turn over Biden's document case after the investigation is done and any action taken against staff. This special counsel investigation actually insulates Biden from that shit with a previous investigation and report made to Garland if required. Calling the prosecutors as witnesses could be humiliating and problematic. A special counsel will delay it and stifle it with a DOJ report to Garland and a staffer's head. These folks are smarter than the republicans in the house, Gym Jordan is a Gym teacher and these DOJ guys are no dummies, they know who and what they are dealing with, a target of investigation, like a few others.

Someone brought Biden the documents and took them away when he was finished with them and Joe followed procedures and protocols, someone on his staff did not. Someone on his staff packed them among personal items too and character counts with Joe's people they will fess up to it and there will be no blame shifting, someone was responsible for handling and storing documents using long established procedures. Joe fully staffed out his and Obama's WH and has layers between him and this incident.

One other thing, if they did impeach Joe they would have no case IMHO and it would be a circus. I don't think Mitch would go along in the senate and they could end up with only a few senate votes and humiliation with a split party.

I might be wrong but they've been talking about an impeachment over Hunter Biden for months already and they have nothing at all to use in that case. You've seen it before. Republicans do what they want regardless of the facts.

If they do, they will be interfering in an ongoing DOJ special counsel's investigation and will need to wait until it is completed to at least get subpoenas or any information on the investigation. Then the report Hur makes to Garland will be in their face and perhaps an ongoing prosecution of a staffer. Garland probably already knows all about the Biden stuff and what the special counsel will conclude. Mitch might come out in the middle of their circus and say no way will he vote to convict with a contrary DOJ report in hand or on the way. There are many possibilities and traps for the stupid and it is a path that will lead nowhere for them except internal divison.

Let's just blame it all on Trump, the Trump years were intense political years and tore American families apart, that acrimony was often reflected here. Politics was a handful during Trump and the pandemic, the events have affected RIU too and the community of users. The whole social media world has been in flux lately and Elon going mad on twitter isn't helping!

It is exactly the same scenario as Biden. They keep lying and saying it isn't but it is. Why isn't Biden being raided?
Trump team had them in Mar-a-lago in a locked room. Mar-a-lago has security including the secrete service inside and outside. Biden had his in a fucking garage. But it was locked and his vette was in there.

They knew all about Biden's documents before the midterms too. The fix is always in with the democrats. The party of liars and cheaters.

They didn't plan on doing anything else except pursue the laughably bad case surrounding Hunter. My wife is American/Canadian and she pays both US and Canadian taxes. Since we share income and expenses, I’ve paid more US taxes in the past 5 years than one your “billionaire” ex presidents.
