Ace seeds

I had a Malawi growing but personal issues popped up and I sort of neglected my last grow. I just took the Malawi down 2 days ago after being in the dark in the tent for like 4 weeks. Smelled amazing but don’t know if she’d smoke ok.

Anyways I think I’m ready to start my next grow real soon and I will be popping some Ace Seeds again. So this time I will be growing Golden Tiger and Killer A5 Haze. Also need some indica and will probably pop 2 seeds as well (leaning The White OG Seedsmans and Obi-Wan from Canuk)
The Golden Tiger is some good smoke. Make sure you let it finish. When you think it's done let it go longer.

Good luck

A friend "gifted" me some Ace seeds recently. I have a Killer A5 Haze I just put in to flowering about a week ago, and just started a couple of Golden Tiger yesterday. 12 hours in the wet paper towels and they're already cracked.

Just so's folks know...
OASeeds in Spain keeps ACE in stock. They keep LOTS of stuff in stock.
Nice, discrete shipping to the U.S. for a few extra bucks.
I like using them, because of the freebies. While my landraces grow, I get to try all the flavors of the day in Fem form. I just crippled my friends with a freebie Critical Orange Punch I grew to fill in a hole in my legal allowance. I get like 6 or 7 freebies for spending 99 Euros, then they throw in freebies from their bulk lines.
Oh, and I THOUGHT there was an extra seed, but it turned out to be a bead to keep the seeds from getting crushed. How dumb did I feel waiting for a plastic bead to sprout in carefully prepared organic soil..... sigh...
If I told you how cheaply you could get some seeds from their bulk seed department, you'd doubt me anyway, so look for yourself.
So far I've grown a bunch of their gear, purposely choosing things wildly different just to see if I get what I order. Sho' nuff do.
I got the Pakistani Chitral Kush and it looks just like my Biogen version.
Got Super Malawi Haze, and it was as advertised.
Got Oldtimer's haze before they quit selling them, and still got some to pop.
Sometimes I can run two freebies in a row waiting for a landrace.
I'm not in any way connected to OASeeds or Ace, just feel like I found a hidden jewel. The lady on the phone from OASeeds was super helpful and went above and beyond to help me. I just hope with everything going on in Europe right now, they keep shipping.

I have Ethiopian seeds slated for next year. The ace Ethiopian seeds have a high level of THCV which is a good thing. They will become very big.
Are you going to grow them indoors or out? I'm trying indoors again. It was a funny plant for me. Seems to start out real slow and stay small for quite some time before it decides to go Kareem Abdul Jabaar.

I would only grow indoor. I have my hands full with malawi x panama right now. The late summer, i will start the ace Thai and make some seeds with thai, killer a5 haze, golden tiger, and thai x panama. Yes, lots of ace.

I had great experiences with thai growing up so this is an adventure i look forward to.

dropped one 5 years old Ethiopian seed and it popped so that's good news.
I really enjoyed the Ethiopian. It's not a high THC strain but it does have high levels of THCV and is tasty.

As far as THC goes I am not one that thinks high THC is the most important factor. I enjoy the lower THC strains. I like to get high but I don't want to get totally baked all the time. I could smoke the Ethiopian all day long and still do things without any loss of motivation whatsoever.

I made more seeds. This is before I went through and sorted them removing the obvious bad ones. I had another bag mostly all good. Those were the ones that just fell out when I shook the bud over a tray. I didn't get pictures of those. All the good ones are stored away. Needless to say I'll never need to buy the strain again. Buy once and grow forever. I also made some crosses. I'm thinking about trying an Ethiopian/Afghani cross I made outdoors this year.

Nice, i got a 20 seed pack of the Zamaldelica x Ethiopian by ace i hope to dig into one day, heard there was good stuff come out of it. also have a few zamal hash by ace and one going atm going to cross it with sour apple bx male, very zamal dom just a quicker flowering time. both structure should link up well. hopefully the landrace influence will help it get out of the short sour apple ibl dominate phenos not that there bad. lol

5 Golden Tiger soaked - sank in about 8 hours - germinated in paper towel less than 24 after that.
Very hardy sprouts. Deep green first set. 2-3 inches long before I found them. (Thought I had a few more hours). Did not grow into the paper towel.
One thing I have noticed - Ace seeds are DESPERATE to grow. Foot to the floor, wide open, ready to LIVE!
What a joy to work with carefully crafted genetics.

High THC strains seldom have the same effect on me as more 'elderly' genetics.
I use Cannabis primarily for medicinal purposes.
I smoke when my pain levels demand it. I frequently forget to smoke when I feel no medical need. My primary benefit is in Cannabis' anti inflammatory properties.
I am going back to the landraces and breeding medicinal strains for EXACTLY the reasons you mention.
High THC strains have had medicinal benefit bred out of them in a LOT of cases.

Are you having the argument with yourself that I am always having: "Hmmmn, Pakistani or Afghani...... how bad do I need those stiff branches and Christmas tree shape?....."
I always want the striking colors and primal appearance of the Pakistani to be bred into my strains, but I know the Afghani will do more for it as far as structure and 'old school' hash terps. So, I always spend a couple days arguing with myself. It's never a predictable outcome. I love them both.
Edit: misread. You are planting seeds already made... thought you were making a cross. Question still stands. :)

I like it too but hope I can do a better job with it. Couldn't tell if it was done and I went so long that the red hairs all fell out, lol. I dont recall if I F2'd it. I crossed with some other stuff and it remained dominant giving banana to everything. Had a lot of males too, maybe coincidence. Only dropped 1 so a coin flip.

Yeah Thai is on my bucket list. Taking a stab at super malawi haze. I didn't know Ethiopian had thcv. Interested in that too.

Be interested in your results with the Malawi. I sat for an hour with a pack of Super Malawi Haze and a pack of Golden Tiger in my lap before I decided on the Golden Tiger ( two samples listed - .03 & .1 THCv)
I'm looking for the slightly stabilized (3rd gen) genetics to cross with my indica. See if I can get some hybrid vigor from the jump.
Plus, right now I prefer the thai to the Malawi. Much clearer finish product for me.
My Malawi isn't a no-ceiling plant like the Thai is.
I think it's the indica influence in the Malawi (10%)
