Ace seeds

Picked up the three-pack of Nepal Jam x Kali China fems from WGS. I have wanted to grow something from ACE Seeds for a while now - glad to have easy US distribution.

Thai chi is cool medium potency/ strong haze type smell like sweet metallic / taste like it smells I think with the right male can be better

super a5 has A lot of strength least flavor with a hashy profile .. it has a distinct smell mixed with hash hard to describe ..crazy big nugs needs airflow on the short phenos

super Neville ? This was my fav typical haze smell and look hairy with a semi pine / African taste high is nice up talkative but then Dreamtime

I’m gonna run the c5 x kali sometime this year maybe asap if I can source some beans the c5 is supposed to be closer to Neville’s haze which is my fav so i have good expectations

Is the Super A5 something they've discontinued? I can't find it listed anywhere. I'd love to get that hashy profile. I've been chasing it for years.

I actually have a Killer A5 Haze going from a seed a friend gifted me. It's just ready to take cuttings from. I was thinking the Super A5 he mentioned was a different version of it.

ACE seems to have been releasing quite a bit of hybrids lately.

I have some of the Malawi going right now. I'll be popping some more ACE next but can't decide which one. Probably Lebanese or Congo so they can finish before I shut down the indoor for the summer around July when it gets hot. I'll have to get them going soon. I'm doing a Honduras and Guatemala run when I start back up indoors around the end of September.

i always mix the name up

A couple Malawi. I don't do much training. I just let them grow. The one on the left was topped. I just have them in 5 in x 5 in x 6.5 in pots of 100% coco. They're not that light green it's just the lighting in the garage and the flash when taking the photo.

I was just looking at this last night on Ace's website. Hoping wellgrownseeds gets these in stock. I'd like to try it.

Are you doing a seed run of these or plants for smoke?
I’ll be popping my Malawi and super Malawi haze very very soon for my next indoor run.
These seeds are the most exited I’ve been to pop for a while.

Mainly a seed run and I'm also crossing with a landrace Highland Thai.

I've never grown the Malawi but I have grown the Golden Tiger which you probably know is a Malawi x Thai. The Malawi leaning pheno was extremely mind altering. Some people that have grown the Malawi or Golden Tiger have said they weren't impressed. I think that's because they didn't let them go long enough. ACE says 10-13 weeks but some plants need 15+ weeks and you'll have something that you won't want to smoke unless you're settled in at home.

The mind altering, “devastating” I think I heard it referred to, effect is what took my fancy.

I have Golden Tiger in flower now (F45)... do you wait for the same trichome colors you would any other standard plant? Was planning on 15wks with this girl

I don't check trichomes. I go by the overall look of the plant. When It is obviously done by just the looks I let the plants go another 10 days or so and then harvest. I can guarantee that I never harvest early which many do that go by the trichomes. Many different factors can affect the trichomes. Growing naturally outdoors they may be a very good indicator but indoors under artificial light and subjected to possible overfertilization, spraying various substances, etc... can all cause the trichomes to change despite the plant not being ready.

I had a Malawi growing but personal issues popped up and I sort of neglected my last grow. I just took the Malawi down 2 days ago after being in the dark in the tent for like 4 weeks. Smelled amazing but don’t know if she’d smoke ok.

Anyways I think I’m ready to start my next grow real soon and I will be popping some Ace Seeds again. So this time I will be growing Golden Tiger and Killer A5 Haze. Also need some indica and will probably pop 2 seeds as well (leaning The White OG Seedsmans and Obi-Wan from Canuk)

Killer A5 haze and golden tiger can take over grow rooms so plan for it. I have 2 Malawi x Panama growing right now and I had to flip from seed at 21 days.

Had to take cuts off of a Killer A5 Haze yesterday as it's exploding so fast in veg and I have nowhere for it to go for a few more weeks.

I’m planning to do a Quadline grow with my plants keeping them shorter in the tent but hopefully get a ton of cola sites. Gonna start them in a few hours in solo cups and move them to their final 7G fabric bag home in a couple weeks. Sorta worked for the Malawi I had going, and even tried it yesterday and still energetic stuff.
