Iran Gen.: Our finger is always on the trigger - CNN.com

TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Iran test-fired a long-range missile on Wednesday in response to what it says are threats from Israel and the United States, Iranian officials said.


"We want to tell the world that those who conduct their foreign policy by using the language of threat against Iran have to know that our finger is always on the trigger and we have hundreds and even thousands of missiles ready to be fired against predetermined targets," Gen. Hossein Salami, commander of the Revolutionary Guard ground forces, said on state TV.


"We will chase the enemies on the ground and in the sky and we are able react strongly to enemy's threats in shortest possible time."









sounds like an excuse to wage war against Iran. is it going to happen?

Well, there is some question as to whether or not we are going to attack Iran. Bush is securing money to do just that. If we do, get ready for the draft.

if there is war there is no way america is going start it. Cuz when the missles start fliying theres gonna be a lot of, how should i say this?


you know when you go up to a fire ant mount and kick it a dissrupt it, yea its gonna be a lot like that but with humans & all over the world.


and if america started it, we are garanteed to lose as the american people cant handle it and we would be destroyed by our own from within

I dont believe THe Us public will put up with the death toll, Iran is a totally different kettle of fish than Iraq. The Iranian army is huge and organised.......

The iranian army is organized until they are hungry,without fuel,without supplies,without leadership,without safe haven,these things are easily taken away from them.

I dont want to see another war,especially in the middle east ,but do you really believe that the iranian army would amount to anything more than a mass slaughter against the full might of the US armed forces,the only thing that could stop the US armed forces from running over the iranian military like road kill would be public outcry & political posturing.

Public outcry or not if we go there you'll see iranian military personel surrendering to reporters just as the iraq military did.

Bombing Iran would be quite literally insane. This would take close to a quarter of the oil supplies off the market that market would instantly crash and chaos would ensue...

What is currently happening is called pyschological warfare. Everyone is just talking shit to see what kind of reaction they can get or instigate a war.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about?

We get most of our oil from Canada. Then Saudi, then Mexico, Venezuela, ect. I don't think Iran is on the list.

Do you think thats bad wait untill Russia and China start Shooting rockets too

A friend was telling me that he heard china were sending some sort of shocks into the sky and ground days before there earthquake ..true or not i dont no ,

Luckily they have some discipline and understand that nuclear weapons are a last resort. I think everyone with nukes in this day and age understands how easy it would be for a global exchange to occur if just 1 or 2 nukes were launched from pretty much anywhere.'

What if the Countrys leader new he was finished like most end up (sadaam or hitler ) Do you think they would have the same discipline over there nukes ?

Iran is far from scared in my opinion. They are in my opinion telling/warning people to back off the pressure on their weapons. They are right too.
