looks like you are pruning less?
More. Every day. These plants are pretty leafy, except for the front left one. The nodes are all bunched up together and the top leaves on every branch get huge in a couple of days so I just take them.

I prune after I take the pictures, and the next day it looks like I didn't do anything. I bitched about it in the cv thread too, I don't like having to reach all the way back there to cut fan leaves.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I can't tell, looks like you are doing hardly any.I know I have accused you of not pruning before.:fire:
I am just basing this of what your previous journals look like to me.
You are right to offer up the information, hopefully the meds will counter act the back pain at least.

They grow fast for sure. Yeah it's usually worth it. :eyesmoke:

@dstroy I really like your setup, reasoning and methodology.

I've been running DWC for many years and I'm currently gathering parts for a HPA build. I followed Homebrewer threads back in the days, he made me switch to Hydro and I haven't looked back since.

It' hard to find necessary parts here in Scandinavia. I have one question that I hope you could answer. I can't decide on how to time and setup the return lines from the buckets/chambers?

Do you use small float valves to trigger the return cycle or do you calculate on volume in the Arduino code?

Thanks in advance!

It's just a simple timer, turns the scavenge pump on for one minute every ten minutes.

https://www.amazon.com/SEAFLO-Industrial-Water-Pressure-Outlet/dp/B076TGWYDK/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_3?keywords=seaflo+diaphragm+pump+120v&qid=1557949436&s=gateway&sr=8-3-fkmrnull

If I could do it differently, I would have a tray and let gravity drain that into the reservoir. I don't have enough vertical space for that.

Thank you, good luck.

Your welcome and thanks to you sir!

I guess you always have to fight with height and space. That was my initial thought. I have to do my own calculations when I've received all my parts. Many variables to take in to consideration. Time will tell, every setup is different.
