Mounted the fan in there with some 6inch ducting to the exhaust. Fits perfectly above my lights. I also cut three 2 1/2" circles on the back floor for intake. Gotta rig up the filter next. 20170615_135158.jpg 20170615_142511.jpg

Well, I just bought the same TerraBloom 6" Duct Fan that you have. You still like it I hope! You got any plants started yet?
Nice bro! Definitely still loving it! It's one bad ass fan with very low watts. I do recommend a speed controller for sure though, cause the bitch dumps. Yeah I have another grow started, a girl scout cookie clone, and 4 nirvana shop mystery seeds.
Cobs dimmed to 100w
24/7 light

Cool I will be following your grow, if this turns out as nice as the GG4 you will be doing good. I got this speed controller cause I am not using any odor control and I can probably run it at 1/2-3/4 speed just to remove heat and moisture. I am thinking about building this exact same light that you built but I am also tempted to try one of those $84 VIPARSPECTRA's; If I did I would have a few clones all ready and it has a 30 days satisfaction or return guarantee so after 28 days if the clones don't do any better than my CFL's the I can ship it back to Amazon.

This is the speed control:

Nice man, I would definitely think twice before purchasing that light. Claims to be 300w but only pulls 138 watts. Building the same light as mine would be legit. I have the same speed controller.

When you say white LED are you referring to the 3500K and higher spectrum or are is it something more in the technology of all the COB's themselves? I will have to more seriously start reading more COB threads here, but it will be 2 weeks before I make a final light decision may be just a 150 HID so three choices.

not necessarily. it could be 2700 or 3000k

and it could be cobs or discrete diodes

150HPS arent super efifcient - 75-100W of HQ LED is similar cost and will outperform and cut your heat and electric bill down quite a bit

20170709_002254.jpg 20170709_002300.jpg Chopped all the excess shit that the two tops don't need. Get all of the growth hormone and root activity to the mains.
The perlite is just for looks and to force me to check bag weight between watering since I can't see drying of soil.

Day 8 since sprout. Gave them their first full watering to run off last night, and they spread their wings a little more after that.
Have some bleaching at 24" from light with light at 100watts. Fuck it, they should grow out of it, I can't dim lower and regress, or raise lights. This has been my best start ever with plants from seed, especially with the very low amount of stretching, and I owe 80% of the credit to the COBs.

These guys aren't looking too hot. As they grow stronger they should stop being so sensitive to the light. The indica is doing the best; no signs of stress.
They have been on 18/6 for 2 days now.
