I normally just grow a crop out from seed through to harvest, but I want to setup a perpetual grow. I veg for 2 months and want to save as much electricity as possible. There is a 75W COB and a 70w QB . I understand that COBs have better light penetration and QBs have a wider spread/less heat concentrated. I lack the experience with LEDs as I have only grown with HPS and MH. So for a two month veg period of two plants (training method is topping and various LTS), would the COB or QB be a better light. (I have a small grow space for veg, but my plants generally get a lil bushy in veg, also only plan to veg with the COB or QB as I now have 400w HPS.)

COB 75w specs:

We're offering a single COB fixture using the new Luminus Gen4 CXM-22, 3500K, on a 90% efficient Mean Well NPF-90D-54 driver.

The NPF driver is a high quality dimmable driver with 5 year manufacturer warranty.

COBs offer a higher intensity of light, over a smaller area than quantum boards.

The new Gen 4 Luminus COBs are an efficient new COB, released in 2019, with similar efficiency to the best Citizen, Cree and Bridgelux COBs.

Recommended vegging height of 40-50cm, flowering height of 30-40cm.

Heatsink size is 250x200x40cm, with a passively cooled thermal equillibrium of around 30 degrees C.

This model uses a BJB holder, which has a small mini-reflector built-in. Ledil Angelina "ANGELINA-XW-B" reflector can be used, if increased reflection is required.

QB 70w Specs:

Our original style, but with upgraded diodes - white LEDs with approximately 58% electrical efficiency - currently the highest efficiency full spectrum LED, in late 2018.

For now, the single QB-70 is only offered in 4000K.

QBv2 (Samsung LM301B) panels, fan-cooled by a 92mm SUNON fan, powered by the Meanwell LPV-100-24 at about 70W.

Providing 183.7lm/W at the driven current, with an 88% efficient driver, this light outputs a total system efficacy of about 161lm/W, equivalent to 2.35uMol/J PAR efficiency.

Note: We offer multi-panel lights that use more efficient drivers with dimmers, allowing > 2.7uMol/J PAR efficiency.

Id go the qb route, better spread of light.
First time ive come across a 70w board, what are the dimensions of it? I couldn't see it on the website.
I use ~ 84 watts in veg area with 3 x 2ft Samsung double row F strips.
4 plants in 10l pots, 4 plants in 6" pots and 4 in small party cups. Sometimes I squeeze in a small clone tray too.
