Did anybody on here have any strains that resisted rot 100%?... especially if it was grown with other strains in the same location, that did experience some rot .. I'd love to know
I had a Blue Jack that did, but not counting it, started real late so was still vibrant young in rot season. Will send pics asa I am able

Lol all good man
It it pretty tasty, thought outdoor is never as good as my indoor for some reason? Smells kind of vanilla-y, not unlike a wedding cake I guess? What is it about outdoor that causes this taste gap?
Seriously, it's a lot more than that. <curing> probably has a lot to do with natural light, oxygen in air, chemical make-up and balance.
She blinded me with science, I'd warble.

Ok, you had me till 'maybe'
S'plain.
Gotta be cons to them pros? Or are you declaring Brass Ring,?
Muddled minds wanna know...
:bigjoint:
“Maybe” because it is still trimming but feels more rewarding… each snip is like putting the finishing touches on a successful grow. Other plants each snip just uncovers more areas to snip.
Learned a lot this first outdoor season. Genetics from breeders that focus on hardy resistant and routine spraying are very important.

I wouldn't say 100%, but I had a Giesel x Schwaggy's Skunk from Schwaggy Seeds that had minimal mold issues despite the rough season and nearby spores on other plants.

Finally cut down the rest of my plants this morning at sun up. Whatever comes of it 2021 outdoor is done for me.

This is the creator of Bruce Banner talking about all the fake Bruce Banner offerings out there
I did watch this entire clip as you were kind enough to educate me. Thank you! I'm going to see if I can add dark horse to my podcast menu. Thunk I saw the ad on i❤growingmarijuanna fir Bruce Banner, but I realize the importance of the real deal now. Kind of the reason I'm reluctant to indicate my indica as a specific genetic, it appears that so many have mucked up the seed business.
It's important to do your research and get authentic genetics.
Wonder how many sour diesels are out there? Fake? Tons.

Tirah 1 came pretty darn close - and interestingly, she has the fattest colas by far out of the 8 female Tirah - 3746BC69-8999-4D8E-AB7D-607A4E5AE0D7.jpegEFEE6896-4455-4707-B110-84F6383C2D17.jpeg

Took two more Tirah down today as they were heading into senescence and the weather outlook this week isn’t favorable for the tired old girls. They have spotty rot here and there but overall not much, and the rot impact on them is different than it was on the Hawaiian Hashbud X Balkhi cross. By that I mean the affected areas on the Tirah are dry and crunchy, and not mushy the way it was on the cross. Here is one of them I chopped at the base -

The two big lessons I learned this year are a) big ol’ 15 foot hashplants can happen here, and when they do you might want them more than four feet apart, and b) the Tirah had zero caterpillars on them even when I was not as diligent with the B.t. as I should have been. I mean zero as in not at all - I did not even see a single bit of worm poop, so whatever mold I ran into is because it is simply part of the environment here. And spraying a 3:1 water to 3% peroxide mix every couple of days seemed to help limit the rot extent.

I’ve had my eye on Supafreak from HSC. Thinking it could perform well here in MA. Anyone grow Supafreak or Freakshow outdoor? Told my self not to buy more seeds but this one would add something unique to the vault

WOW! Curious, what's the Tirahs genetic make up? Besides part Redwood tree
She's a big girl, you say colas a little more airy? I know what that means
Beauty, I like how you trimmed all the bottom crap and let the tops go nuts. Do you only do that for the hash plants? Do you whack the bottoms off early? During veg? Early flower? Did it stunt them at all?
Fascinating stuff, Tirah. Gotta love the plus sized girls, give you shade in the summer, keep you happy in the winter

Anyone try North Atla tic Seeds? Think my referral came from this thread somewhere :leaf: :leaf: :leaf: :leaf: :hump::bigjoint:
rainy day, trim or hunt or catch some
maybe all 3?
Anyone else ever grow dinks? Whatever reason, never made it past a foot, one nug, stinks worse than anything. Rain, drizzle, couple days. 20211024_170202.jpg20211024_170353.jpg20211024_172604.jpg
