its an elastic band.
The whole got kinda ripped over so I had to put those on.

When they stretched like that on me I took the rockwool and tore it open. I then stuck the stem down into the rockwool further so that the leaves just barely came out of the top fo the hydroton. I'm not a 100% sure how you are doing it, but this worked for me.

hmm, i would never of thought of doing that...

Yeah, it happened to me when I started vegging multiple plants in different stages. I would find someone more experienced than me to find the exact way of doing this. I'm just relaying what worked for me.

I just cut 2 clones for the first time

They got put into the home-made hydroponic system for vegitation at 18 hours of light a day.



hopefully they get through the stress

If it's cutting I would use the dome and spray the leaves with h20 daily. Good luck.

go to youtube and lookup stoned free cloning. Very good tutorial.

yeah its been about 13 - 14 hours sinced I cloned and put them into my new hydroponic resuvuar, and they are looking sooo sad
basically laying on my white papers. but they dont feel dead. thats the thing

I just got some 2x4's and some black garbage bags.
I plan on putting those boards up around both widths and heights so I can stapel the black garbage bags up.

I'm doing this because there is light from the vegitation room when the floweing room is suppose2 be completely dark, and i heard it can make a big difference on the growth.

You're going to need a lot of garbage bags. try mylar, it's not expensive.

Mylar is good. I've also seen black white poly wrap in 6 mil. I'm not sure if they make mylar @ 6 mil. The only problem I found with mylar is getting that stuff to not wrinkle, but I'm sure that's the problem with any type of of stuff you put on the walls. Would just seem easier to me if the stuff wasn't as thin as the stuff I used. Just my 2 cents, I would ask around.

Yeah, I don't like it either. What I use is some stuff called white/black/white. It has an extra layer of white and it's claimed that this blocks all light. I'm using the stuff as a cover for my bubblers and I harvest tomorrow, so it must do the job it say it does.

Well I decided to go get some black plastic from home depots.
I got 12' x 2' for $15.00.
That means that I had to put up three 4' sheets from the top down so it would cover up the light from the vegitation room.





I am leaving 2morro morning and I wont see my plants for 3 days, so lets all hope it goes well.

ALSO I WANT TO PUT 7 OF MY WHITE WIDOWS INTO MY ROCKWOOL CUBES TO PUT INTO MY VEGITATION ROOM.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS BY JUST PUTTING THE SEEDS IN, AND THEN IT WILL SPROUT ABOUT 5 - 7 DAYS LATER?

I am a first time grower,[in-door, hydroponic] and am curious to find out if buying Feminized seed will provide an advantage.

I have never bought feminized seeds as this is my first grow myself
I got 6 clones from a friend and 3 got chucked.
3 are now in flowering.
I also got 10 white widow seeds from nirvana.
i germinated 3.
2 fell over and died i tried to save them but i did not succeed.
1 of them is looking reallllly niice

I'm going to be germinating my other 7 white widows tonight i think
