hey man, i answered your PM.
Most hydro systems that size use 8 to 12 gallon tanks. AND air stones in addition to the pump that's pumping the nutes . You are going to need to refresh or change the water frequently. are you using City water? Don't!
what watt is the lamp? Is is a soft white or strong bright flood light. (you need both for a full spectrum) I put 85 watts two inches from my plants with no problems.
Over feeding causes the yellowing and will cause wilting too.
Be careful changing PH, it's better to change it with clean water than to use chemicals.

Day 19 Veg

It's almost on week 3 of veg and I am still running 18/6 under a 150 Watt CFL.
I have re-added my nutes, and have come up with a ph of around 6.0.
The leaves are kind of droopy still.
The leaves kind of feel dry.
Some are yellow, but I clip them off when I notice.
The stems right before the leaf begines, is red/purple ish.
I am still misting 2 times a day. I just added nutes into the resuvuar and sprayer today.
(Leaves get more droopy when I stop misting for a day.)
And on 1 plant, the leaves are tweekin out. It has like folded itself in half.
Heres a pic:

Please leave comments, opinions, useful information, + or -.

I will appreciate it, Thanks.

get 'em lights closer to the kids. i think one of my cfls are the same exact one...105 watts...get them like 2-4 inches from the tallest plant but make sure that the reflector is still doing its job

I would not put the water in fridge.
You want your water to be room temp or slightly warmer (less than 5 degree dif)
I would set it out for a couple of days and let the chlorine evaporate before you use it.
I would also ph before and after adding nutes.
You should change water solution out atleast once every other week if not sooner.

Good luck
happy growing.

I put it in the fridge, with the lid off, as the chlorine floats away into nothing.
i do ph before (around 4 - 4.5) ph after is (5.9 - 6.2)
I change the water every 2 days.

Thanks!

If you go to FAQ you can find a pic that looks just like your yellowing leaves. it says that your roots are probably constantly under water and constantly being fed and UNDER OXYGENATED. . They need a break, if that is the cause. You need ocasional VERY SHORT BRIEF periods of the roots being exposed to air out of the water, even if just for a minute. Additional airstones MIGHT help. I am not familair with yoor system, read the instructions and ask the vendor that sold it to you. Maybe you are supposed to be feeding on a Timer, or in intervals, I don't know.

Week 3, Day 21 Veg

Hey I just came back from 2 days of not seeing my plant, and 2 days after readding my nutes in, and 1 of my plants have root rot. some roots are brownish.
ALSO, some of the older leaves have a dark color in the vains of the leaves.

Today I bought liquid seadweed, so when I got to my plants, I saw what I saw, dumped my resuvuar, filled it up with water that has been in the fridge with no lid, for 2 days now, and added some liquid seaweed. I added 8 Teaspoons for 2 gallons, like it said on the package.

I am hoping the root rott and the darkness on the leaves will dissapear by the next time i come back, itll be in another 2 days.

I am stopping misting for 2 days and when I get back ill see if they have gotten any better.

HERE ARE MY PICTURES

From what I've seen so far. I wouldn't freeze or chill the water. Just let it sit out for a couple of days. I only do the ph thing after I put in the nutes. The more bubbles the better, I seen this 1st hand. I have a strong air pump dual air outputs. I ran both air outputs and reduced it to one with one long air stone. I noticed that the part of the air stone that was producing the most bubbles had the biggest plant. When the plant was small i had the bottom part of the container touching the water, almost semi-submerged. I would take a glass and pour it over the hydroton once a day. Foliar feeded the leaves with bat guano and earthworm castings and water. Light mix. The nutrient solution I went 1/3 of the recommended dosage. My opinion...and again this is my opinion since I'm not a seasoned hydro man, you are overfeeding them. I am of the firm belief that less is more, it's very easy to give more nutes but it's hard to take them away once you have subjected them to it. No nutes that is just as bad, give the ladies something. My 1st shot at hydro I had them budding at only 5 inches tall. They looked way nicer than any plant that I've ever grown in soil. I guess in conclusion my advice is to keep the nute solution low and not try and over compensate for what is believed to be too much nutes or trying to give them more. 1/3 strength fox farm when they are that big.

I have stopped using the nutes that came with my hydroponic system, as all it's gave me is trouble. Even though it says the ph is right.
I have added liquid seaweed into the water for my resuvuar, so the plants roots will be getting food when it wants.
i wont cut anything anymore.
yeah my tallest plant at the moment is 6", and its been 22 days.

I think you are feeding them too much nutes, and the water is not oxegenated and moving enough.
I have no experience with the Emily System, so it's hard to help you. It might not be deep enough to grow pot in.
