beautiful jilly!! she was my first grow and i was very happy
My humidity is steady at 50%
ty xebeche she yielded about 4.5oz wet (129.7 grams) and is still drying ... probably about 2 more days and then I'll get the final weight once it's manicured.Nice looking plant, should be some fine smoke... +rep
You gonna grow another round of Jilly, or somethin else next time?
Update
So here we go; I grew a motherfuckin pound of weed!!!
-------but then it dried
Totals being @4oz dry and cured from the 10 jillybean plants most of which were between 18- 24" in height and similar girth.
and thats not including all the popcorn......the retarded amount of popcorn and stuff not worth trimming left over from the scrog. I probably have about an additional pound or so of sweet leaf trim and popcorn nugs that I will be making some killer hash with. [dry ice hash w/ bubble bags]
The 3 12/12 from seed snowcaps yielded a combined total of 2oz they were harvested at day 65. 12/12 is the shiz if you want weed fast but I regret not taking my time with them cause this stuff is some of the best tasting/ smelling bud, and it will obliterate you.
My overall opinion on scogging is mixed, IT WORKS! but I would only recommend it if you are severely limited on space, the scrogs yielded about 2oz a piece but very few of the buds were large enough to to be dispensary pot, lots of tiny eraser head sized buds. My other plants produced better bud all around and more sizable nugs the largest being 6.4 grams dry and about 24 wet.
I have a ton of room to work with, so the scrog is just a lot of extra work for me. If for some unexpected reason I have no room to grow then I would use it again. It's very very effective for the size the plants are (18" average) but like I said the buds are tiny.... but still a killer tasting/ fruity smelling bud. Truly a delightful smoke, a gradually uplifting high that leaves you with an intense smile on your face.
It is a hybrid too, so it sometimes melts into a good body high (only after a fat blunt I noticed though). I'd recommend it as an antidepressant, it's light weight and you can still get you housework done after a quick bowl.
I WILL GROW JILLYBEAN AGAIN!
didn't take clones but big jill is re-vegging nicely and will be going in her 18 gallon tub today. I'm going to grow her big but keep her low( under 4 feet)
early in my grow the plants were in a much smaller tent and were pretty bunched together, they were only moved to the 7'x7'area for the flowering period. I would have liked to use both 1000watters' but we have really crappy wiring and I could barely run the single without tripping the breaker. So half of the plants got neglected.Sup man, nice post. FYI I love da JB! LST into a fat bush. Am getting a gram a watt off her with ease. Get some air cooled, 6's and rock and role! Bigger pots too! My question to you is this: why grow small plants? I grow 6 per recommendation like i am supposed to, I just go for some megabush! JB is super forgiving, good newbie plant, harvests fat too. Shit name though. I call it Orange Velvet crossed with Space Queen!
