1000w Jillybean Scrog On a Budget!

Day 32 of 12/12
Pics without the hps glow, the plants in terracotta are snow cap and all the rest are Jillybean.
3 of the plants are now yellowing so I'm just going to give them water until harvest since I figure it's only about 3 weeks away.
How long do they apear to have?
-hairs are less than 10% amber
- trichs are clear or opaque white

Damn T those are beautiful, I have a little bit drying right now, 1-2 bowls worth from a branch that got broken while moving them around but I cant wait until harvest + cure It'll be ready for 4th of July!

Day 35 of 12/12

These girls are getting stinky the smell is really awesome it's like candy dipped in diesel. I found a sneaky little branch growing under my screen so I chopped it and dried it for 2 days before sticking it in a jar. I've been burping it but I think it will only take another day or two until it's smokable....it's only about a gram

looking very nice bud! keep it up!!!! (did not read the entire thread-but plan on doing so) how much you think this scrog is gonna pull for you? trying to decide between running my old school 1k hps or picking up 2 400w cmh and scrogging in a tent..

Nothing wrong with sampling a gram or two along the way, I do it all the time with a new strain :weed:

From what I can tell right now the scrog is going to give an ok yield with about an oz. per plant on the cart (12- 18" from light) and maybe a half oz. if I'm lucky with the other scrog that hasn't moved at all (about 18- 30" from light). but I have had much better luck with my "banzai style" , I repeatedly tie back branches using bamboo and garden ties pulling the branches to the outside. My prized plant "bigJill" has what looks like nearly 3 oz. and a few others that are comparable.

Damn, I broke my favourite bowl (my first bowl) it was just a crap $10 piece and my shop has a ton of them but I got attached to it

what sucks a ton more is I had just packed a fresh "evening bowl" {blackberry topped with shiva crystals) and had to toss it cause I didn't feel like picking out the glass.
well, maybe I'll get a new piece after this grow

I did the same thing last nite - empty bowl but still glass & I have been through at least a 1k in broken glass this year

I smoked a bit of the JB last night that I only cured for about a week and it was intense.... took about 5 minutes to kick in with a nice numbing headband before trickling down and melting into my body.... not a groggy smoke.... slightly upliftng with a good bouncy body high, cant wait until it's done curing

Mine are smelling a lot now.... had to open my can of ONA about half way to take care of the smell. I definitely try not to open my bedroom door too often.
