I’m rocking a 9x9 gorilla grow tent with 4 Luxx LEDs and two 3x6 trays (plus space for 2 extra plants per side - just not in the tray because I couldn’t find 3x8 available). I’m planning on letting the plants grow to a vertical height of about 2.5 feet (including pot, tray height, and top of scrog net - 45 inches total)
I’m wondering what size pots I should go for. 8, 10gal pots fit perfectly in the tray. Would you do that to maximize the space and root potential or would you go for 5 or 7 gallons to consolidate space and to be able to move them if need be? OR would you do 8 total plants, all in 10gals - 4 per tray in the center?
I’ve always used 5 gallons in my 4x4; but this is an upgrade so I was considering possibly 10’s, is it worth the extra veg time? The pictures don’t include the net as I’m building the frame this weekend.
