Led comparison. Growers choice roi-900 vs Luxx 860 pro xr

Looking to buy a new light. I have a 7 foot wide grow space so I really like the idea of a 5ft wide grow light, (both are 5 feet wide). I have a roi-e680 and a hlg Diablo scorpion rn. I’m going to keep both of them and use my new light in a new area. Love both of those lights for different reasons. If I had the height I would get 2 more hlg Diablo scorpions but I don’t and that light needs height so the plants require a lot of training, vs the other style light. So I require a light bar set up. As far as these two lights go, I know both will be excellent. I am running co2 so the extra wattage of the growers choice is a factor that I like. But I’ve always heard great things about the Luxx and I’m not sure I need 1000watts. The growers choice has a bit less red in the spectrum than the Luxx which I know will relate to less yields on paper, but it’s 1000watts versus 860 so maybe it will make up for it.

I know that’s a lot of information, but these are some of the factors I have considered. Looking for anyone who has either or knows any extra information that might sway my decision. Thanks a head of time!

This topic came up in a recent Capulator discussion. The Growers Choice lights were held in high regard by many.
Plenty of awesome grows with growers choice lights on icmag.. Definately a solid choice. Never heard of lux...
Hlg's lights are popular here as they are an advertiser, but i dont think you would be disappointed either way.

I have the growers choice 720s. Pretty happy with them. Just make sure u have the height for the 1000w or even the 860w board. Even the 720s which pulls around 750watts, sometimes have to lower it cuz plants get too close. Also, make sure you're using co2

Highly recommend the dual E420 setup for a 4x8 tent, nice even light distribution. I've only had one light strip go out and they fixed it on the spot.
