True would probably be better with 2 looking at the space, but yeah that’s what I’m asking mate so would you go with the led or hps? ThanksI’m not sure how you’re going to get 4 plants in a sq meter, unless you’re using I or 2 gal pots. Best of luck. Also, that is waay too much light, I’d use one or the other, not both.
Ok mate thanks, was looking at a 480w led would you just go with the one yeah400 W LEDs should be sufficient to light that space. Mixing HPS and LED seems like a headache. Both are good technologies and can yield equal weed in quality and quantity when used on their own.
Combining them probably only accentuates their disadvantages.
Was looking to get one of these mate what you think? What Led u got?
Hey mate I was looking at the sp3000 but it’s only 300w would prefer something a bit higher to try get a bigger yield, but cheers mate will just forget about the hps thenfor the price, i would go with a mars hydro sp 3000
and btw if you mix led and hps you GAIN the advantages of the two spectrums where they interlap
you dont loose nothing except money cooling down the room if you have to
i suggest 4 100 watt quantum boards or the sp
look at my cupboard its 60x90 and i got 320 watt leds in there , overkill
so forget the hps 600 and get led
i like the sp for your space better
and use 3 gallon pots for final transplant, trust me
bless
Had a look at yours mate looks good, would I get away with running more watts if I chose led lighting in a small space like that or would it be over kill if I were to add more ledsfor the price, i would go with a mars hydro sp 3000

300 watts is enough lighting to grow over a pound if you get everything else right. You won't fit much more than a pound in a 0.8 x 1.2 canopy space so anything over 300 is pointless unless the shape of the 400 light gives you better ppfd distribution and you run it dimmed at 75%.Had a look at yours mate looks good, would I get away with running more watts if I chose led lighting in a small space like that or would it be over kill if I were to add more leds
Ok thank you will look for an led with 300-400 watts, and will most likely go with coco since yields a little more300 watts is enough lighting to grow over a pound if you get everything else right. If yield is your primary goal my advice would be to run coco DTW instead of soil. And use photo seeds over autos.
Thank you mate those look good I’d probs go with the 3rd option, but dim them down to 3-400 wattsThis would be my Go to for 60x120cm
But I'd prefer it to be 300w.
MIGRO ARAY 4 | 250W
The MIGRO ARAY 4 is the most efficient LED grow light on the market for 4ft x 2ft or 1.2m x 0.6m grow space. Delivering incredibly uniform PAR distribution with 4 LED bars, a remote mountable LED driver with dimmer control.migrolight.com
However they do these for 2x2 (60x60cm)
MIGRO ARAY 2 | 125W
The MIGRO ARAY 2 is the most efficient LED grow light on the market for 2ft x 2ft or 0.6m x 0.6m grow space. Delivering incredibly uniform PAR distribution with 2 LED bars, a remote mountable LED driver with dimmer control.migrolight.com
Now if you got 3 of these you've got yourself 375w which is a lot in your space.
And all for £357 ..
Now 1, that's going to be a better light both in build and efficiency and 2, you'll get far better customer support if you ever needed it.
3rd option..
MIGRO ARAY 3 | 250W
The MIGRO ARAY 3 is the most efficient LED grow light on the market for 3ft x 3ft or 0.9m x 0.9m grow space. Delivering incredibly uniform PAR distribution with 3 LED bars, a remote mountable LED driver with dimmer control.migrolight.com
Two of these would fit really well and light that space up evenly..
But 500w is overkill, but you can dim them and you will most definitely have to in veg..
That £438..
Both options 2 and 3 would be cheaper and far better lights than the one you linked from London grow, which is just a chinese knockoff of a quantum board and they are making a huge mark up on that light .
Thank you much appreciated, going to order those 2 from the 3rd option. But yeah mate good prices as well cheers againAnd if you don't know this guy/ company just search migro on YouTube..
He's been at this for a long time and has been testing every light worth talking about for years and happily shows which beat his and which don't and price comparisons.
He's probably the most transparent LED manufacturer there is and very competitive price wise.
Yeah I think though its a bit more money than option 2 the dimensions are far better suited to your space.Thank you mate those look good I’d probs go with the 3rd option, but dim them down to 3-400 watts
No worries mate, it's what this sites for.Thank you much appreciated, going to order those 2 from the 3rd option. But yeah mate good prices as well cheers again
