Alright smart asses, what are the best cfl for light output? I will experiment, getting ready to flower I'll put 4 in for side lighting and see if I notice a significant difference. My ladies are 3ft. I switch to 12/12 on friday if I find a higher yield, I will publicly apologise for cfl slamming.

the guys in cfl would probably have more info on it than us, but remember cfl=low yield

you should jump over to the cfl forum, those guys are in thier own world and dont understand plant potential and hid systems. just warning you they're closed minded assholes

you could top your plants, or do a google search for redeyes article on splitting

you'll have better luck with a paintbrush.. remove the male from the room, collect pollen, brush it on a branch you want to pollinate, afterwards put a sadwich bag over the section to prevent it from affecting the rest of your garden, goerge cervantes practices this method.

this would be determined by how many plants you were actually going to grow. with a 1000w system use a 5 ft footprint a glass lens, vent the light's heat outside, keeping the ballast separate from the tent, you could do very well for yourself. dwc gets lb per plant... food for thought

nice, has anyone actually had a report on aeroponics harvest? ive never known anyone who had a full term setup, rather than just clones.

all you need for side lighting is mylar or white plastic. i really hate cfl's, they dont do enough to justify the electricity they use, it's all about lumens per sq in this is the only site ive seen where everybody is so cheap that they want to jump to cost effective vs whats best to grow.

you can sex them 2 days on a 12/12 cycle will develop pre-flowers, then go back to 18/6
